Works great
Works great with iPhone to get videos, pics, or files on or off the phone. Good transfer speeds but can get hot with extended use.

Great Flash Drive—Just Missing a Cap
This flash drive works really well! It’s fast, reliable, and super convenient with both USB-C and USB-A connectors. I just wish it came with a cap or some kind of cover to protect the ends—especially when carrying it around on a keychain. Still, it’s a solid product and perfect for transferring files between devices.

Reads fast writes slow. Don't panic.
It is small and handy between phone or tablet android based. It does not claim to write faster than usb 2.0. It reads much faster. I see some folks got defective physical C usb connector. The 3 I have are not defective. I made Acronis rescue media and restored 40gb to my bitlocked laptop. I am happy with how fast it restored. I did have one device that windows 11 had trouble formatting to ntfs. That sort of scared me but it did format fine in another laptop. If the build issue still exists I don't see it any I have. Everything about it is in written form on the back. Maybe there are faster write speeds but not with the phone usb C support. This a unique product. Based on current 3.2 USB but that only means you can plug it to something 3.2 there aren't claims to support optimal 3.2 transfer speeds. I could not find another small device like this to go between machines with differing physical connections. I'm only worried about the one that was tricky to format.

Perfect extremely tiny drive.
This drive is extremely small. I mean, small. The smallest flash drive I've ever had. I also love that it has both USB A and USB C. I have multiple devices I need to connect this to. Some of them only have USB A ports and some only have C ports. Tip, if you're going to be using the device with multiple operating systems like myself, reformat the drive to the exFAT standard. By default the drive is formatted as FAT. Which while yes, it works with any OS, it only supports individual files being up to 4gb in size. When you purchase a 256gb drive its safe to assume you're going to want to put files larger than 4gb on it. So make sure to reformat it to the modern exFAT standard. Strange that this is the decision they made. Can only imagine the number of people that likely return it because they try to transfer a large file over and it just gives them an error due to the default formatting method. It's a simple fix that should be the default for how this device is shipped. That being said, just reformat it to exFAT and it's perfect.

Unusable Drives. Misleading Specs.
I purchased two of these. The drives both have a defect which makes them not usable. The Amazon description says "200MB/s." For a very brief period, after a full format operation (not quick format), both the read and write speeds might be about 200MB/s. However, the write speed during the long format operation averages about 20MB/s, not 200MB/s. After completing the long format operation I tested the drive using the GRC "Validate Drive" tool, and during this test the write speed slows w---a---------y down and apparently does not recover unless the drive is completely reformatted again. The read speed after "Validate Drive" is still about 200MB/s, but the write speed is a few MB/s or even in the KB/s range. I have attached a screenshot of CrystalDiskMark to prove this. Because waiting for results from the entire benchmark would have been too painful, I ran only the first benchmark in the attached image, that's why the other results are "0.00". The two USB drives I purchased are going in the trash, even though they are brand new. They are that bad. I did not save the packaging and it is not worth the trouble to return them. In my opinion it is best to avoid these drives.

Tough, small, and convenient
Tough and convenient. I keep it on my key chain. It replaces another i had that was plastic and fell apart. This one is much better.

Works well with both plug ends
Works well. Would have been better with a cap over one of the plugs.

PNY is usually a quality brand so I was surprised when I discovered that the USB C connector was designed too short so that it won't connect and actually just falls out of the USB C slot. I initiated a return soon after receiving this flash memory key. Very disappointed with this design issue.
