I have to use Excel now for work, and it has been a long time, so I needed a refresher course. I got this book so I could refresh my memory as well as learn any thing new the program has had added. The book does a good job explaining everything in easy to understand step by step instructions. I appreciated the screen shots where appropriate. The bonus features alone are worth buying the book. The author has provided some video tutorials to help help reinforce what the book is teaching. There are also templates provided for you to learn to work with and manipulate. These are invaluable. I appreciated this book and I learned a lot.

If you need a crash course in Excel, this is a great book. In just 7 days you can work your way through this book. It covers a lot of the functions that are in Excel. My favorite part of the book was the listing of the keyboard shortcuts - I didn't realize how many of them there were. Knowing how to use excel well can save you a lot of time.

Started a new position that requires the of excel more extensively, and since I haven't been using excel a lot in my other position I decided to to get this book and I would recommend it to anyone getting into excel or need refresher.

This book does not contain enough detailed information. For example, for Pivot Tables, there are a few paragraphs about them, but no real instructions for how to make them. Additionally, the link to the templates doesn't work. Maybe they would help if available. I returned the book.

I did not intend to order a strictly textual introduction to Excel 2023; I bought this book for the video content. Since the prominently displayed second subtitle of this book is "Video Tutorials and Templates", I assumed I would get a URL link taking me to the video tutorial content that is promised, videos explaining how to use Excel that either parallel or supplement the book's textual content. But no video on how to use Excel accompanies this book, either on a CD, USB stick, or in the form of viewable or downloadable online content. The video tutorials referenced in the book's title are two free eBooks, one on Productivity Strategies *for Beginners*; the other on Time Management *for Beginners*.Since both these tutorials target beginners, and nothing in the book itself approaches a level of expertise that one might find in any number of more voluminous after-market Excel books, what is meant by the book's first subtitle, "From Zero to Expert Bonuses"? The bonus material clearly states it is for beginners, not experts.I have only scanned the book's contents briefly, so my review is not on the content, but on the misleading title. I had every reason to think I was buying a video tutorial on the use of Excel 2023, accompanied by a content-related booklet. Bait and switch.

Found this book ideal to edit templates to suit my needs as I am able to remove unwated sections of templates. I was also able to modify them to my specific needs.The book is informative, easy to follow and I keep it close at hand. If like me you sometimes forget how to construct complex formulas, then here is your quick reference friend.

I have always used Excel to create tables, graphs or other, but I was always very slow and I had difficulty using it correctly, thanks to this book I learned how to make the most of this program that allows you to do countless things. First of all, it explains well what the worksheet is, what parts it is made of, explains the various formulas that can be useful, but also how to create tables and graphs in a simple but effective way. I found it very useful, and it is also written in a clear and linear way, understandable even to a beginner like me. I recommend reading to anyone who wants to improve their use of this program.

I bought this book because I needed a guide for using the additional functionality of Excel's tables and dashboards for data visualisations; I found it perfect because it is explained very well, clearly and is full of practical instructions. This guide for me is also great for beginners and newbies to Microsoft Excel because it provides a solid foundation on its functions and formulas and you learn it very quickly.
