Good printer. Toss the extra hardware
Zebra makes the best thermal printers in the market. If you're using a zebra thermal printer you should be using the zebra print utilities program and not any 3rd party software. Thats the case here, the 3rd party software that comes in this package doesn't really integrate well with the zebra printer. You'd be best to just toss that software away and use the zebra native software which works very well.

Works Great!
I picked this printer up to add a second thermal printer to my home office shipping setup, primarily as a backup for my Rolo printer... except this thing is so fast and prints so nicely that it's kind of taken over as my primary, and left the Rolo as the backup! Setting it up was just like any other printer - go to the site, download the driver, install, then plug the printer in. No trouble there, it went exactly like it was supposed to.This is my first thermal *transfer* printer, as opposed to the direct thermals that I am more used to, so it was a little different loading the transfer ribbon, but it worked just like the instructions said and wasn't difficult to do at all. I really like this printer!

Top of the line label printer.
Works great, but you will have to buy additional items for this to use it if you don't already have those items. You will need labels and I would recommend rolls over flat stack labels. The instructions say it can use flat stack labels but I couldn't figure out how. It is a little expensive if you only plan to print shipping labels. If you utilize all of the features of this machine it is actually a great deal. It works well for printing barcodes for products you make or if you want to utilize a different one than the MFG's.

It's Finnicky
Sometimes it works and when it does it's flawless. However, there are moments where it just locks up and has to be turned off and then on again. I don't think it's worth the money to be honest.

Great printer when you use the included software, but the app is awful
I was excited to get this label printer for my spouse, who is always printing shipping labels and sending his labels to me to print on my off-brand label maker. Here's our take on this Zebra printer:Pros:1. Well made, high quality2. Lots of instruction manuals and videos of how to use it can be found on the internet3. The provided software for PC use is quite useful.Neutral:1. This printer is more suited towards businesses running servers than to the average joe running a business out of their home.Cons:1. The app for using this printer with your phone is TERRIBLE. When sending a job to the printer, the printer will magically "lose connection".2. It doesn't come included with the ribbon for thermal transfer printing.Summary:For the high price of a high-quality printer, I expected a refined product (which includes printing via wifi /and Bluetooth). Zebra isn't quite there yet with wifi capabilities. I'm not docking a star for the lack of wifi, but just saying that it would be appreciated if that was an option one of these days.I will, however, dock a star for the awful app in which does not allow you to print via Bluetooth.

It's compatible with CUPS and I can connect it with my Android tablet via Bluetooth
The printer comes with a few accessories such as a power cord, power adapter, a USB drive with software and drivers that I don’t need as I’m using the printer with Linux, roll holders but no thermal rolls, a user guide, and some papers about regulations, etc. After hooking up the printer, I connected it to my network and assigned it the static IP 192.168.1.115. Using CUPS, I added the printer by selecting the socket://192.168.1.115:9100 protocol. I chose the Zebra ZPL driver (ZT410-203dpi ZPL) from the options, and within minutes, the printer was recognized. While a USB connection works, I prefer Ethernet for its network-wide accessibility.I've been printing shipping labels using 4x6 direct thermal rolls. The graphics and text are crisp and clear. It prints fast, and the auto-calibration handles different label sizes without me having to fuss around. The ZD421 works with CUPS, so I avoided vendor software entirely. I see that Zebra's ZPL commands work with my Linux scripting tools for batch printing. For Android connectivity, I discovered that setting up Bluetooth was easy. I had to download the app with the long name, Zebra Printer Setup Utility, from the Google Play Store. When I need to make the printer discoverable, I can do it over the app or press and hold the Feed button for five seconds until I see the Bluetooth LED blinking. For security, I've set up a PIN code through the app, so only authorized devices can connect to my printer.Using the printer with Linux and Android, I don’t have to deal with the bloat that comes with Windows.

Does not function properly - Worn rollers inside when supposed to be brand new.
Does not function. Internally there is heavy wear, so there is something off with the unit I personally received. Doesn't feed correctly. Internal rollers look worn. Internal gears are slipping. This is without ever using it other than trying to print something the first time.Based on my experience hands-on with the unit I received, I do not recommend this product.
