just about - but if you had lots of stuff in the bag it would scrunch up. I get an A4 note pad in mine & it's ok.

Has the black basket weave a zip on the back please?

I don't have a black basket weave one but I don't think the colour makes any difference. There is a popper on the back, a zip on the top and 3 zips at the front.

Hi Lucy 04 - yes, with a bit of a struggle. I tried with a rigid A4 exercise book and had to put it in vertically and then manipulate it round to get it horizontal. The zip gets in the way a bit. Great bag for tablet computers though.
