I tried a cheap stainless steel wire cheese cutter. It’s ability to cut even normal density cheese was in doubt! It felt flimsy! This item I was delighted with on cutting the high density cheese into measured regulated slices!

Really good tool and doesn't need replacement wires that are virtually impossible to obtain. It works well. The only improvement in design that I would recommend is extending the base beyond the cutter so that the cheese falls onto the extended base instead of onto the table. A chopping board underneath helps. Apart from this, I would have given it five stars. Price reasonable and supplier great. Highly recommend this cutter.

Works well can adjust the thickness with ease

Made in Germany with a 5 year guarantee. The adjustable depth of cut is a particularly clever system and well engineered, it cuts well and takes most of the effort out of slicing cheese, I wish I had bought one years ago as I begrudge paying extra to have cheese sliced.

Can get thinner slices with a sharp knife. Mature cheese crumbles so need to use a fatty cheese.

Easy to use, but be careful of the sharp blade especially when cleaning the hard to reach places. Keep it we’ll far from children

not really a home implement. but definitely catering grade, remove the inconsistency of a freshly prepared cheese sandwich. just don't clean it with your fingers.
