Q: Can you only burn wood in this stove and how often do you have to keep throwing wood into it?

You can chuck wood or coal in it... the deciding factor on regularity is how big the space is that you want to heat. I use mine in a big tent and it’s brilliant in sub-zero temperatures.

Q: does this unit have a flue dampener?

Hi, No, they have an air regulator on the front door that gives better control. Thanks
