We don't print a lot, but this unit has been going for years.

Every time I used my printer. it kept stopping for "Drum Errors" telling me to clean the corona wire, When it would print, I had lines across the copy. The new drum fixed all my problems, and it prints like a new machine. I can't rate the "Longevity" because I just bought the drum.

I have ordered from V4Ink several times over the past few years and have always been very satisfied with the quality of the toner AND the drum for my Brother MFC-7849W that just keeps on printing and scanning going on 12 years now. I used to buy only Brother products but the quality of these is very close to the OTC and at about 1/4th the price. I just replaced the drum the second time using the V4Ink product. The last one lasted for 3 years or so with moderate printing.I know their customer service is top notch.So, I will continue to use their products as long as this printer lasts........and of course I will replace my printer when it finally dies with another Brother (they also have great customer service and great products) and will use V4Ink for the new printer as well. Try them. OH, p.s. You MUST reset the drum counter when you put in a new drum. With the Brother printers you press the Clear/Back button while the front cover is open and it asks you then if you are replacing your drum. Check your owner manual to see how to do yours as they are all different.

UPDATE: The seller noted my review and offered to replace the drum and cartridge as well as refund my purchase price. That is pretty impressive customer service. I will try the new drum and cartridge as soon as I need them but I will use up the Brother units I bought first. At my print rate, it will be a while before I try the replacement V4INK units out. In the meantime, I'm going to assume that I got a bad batch and change my review to three stars based on their exceptional customer service.While the price is right, the output has become unacceptable and now my Brother MFC-7440N will not print due to "Drum Error." Bought this back in February 2016 and doubt that I have printed even 500 pages since then. The output quality has deteriorated over that period with the printed pages getting more and more grey overall. It's unfortunate, given the extremely reduced cost of using aftermarket toner and drums but I'm going to order the OEM drum and toner.

I have bought several remanufactured toner and drum cartridges from many different places (not to mention new ones from the original manufacturer). The toner and drum I just purchased from V4INK is one of the best yet. I have paid lots more for just the toner alone before than I paid for the toner and drum both in this purchase. So far they are excellent. Even before I put them in my printer though, I was very impressed. The packaging was exceptional - better than when I've bought from the original manufacturer, even! The drum and toner were packed individually, encased not only in a sealed plastic bag, but each also encased in a high quality bubble protection. There was no toner residue - they were as clean as new. And surprisingly, they came with installation instructions. This shouldn't be a big deal, because I have replaced both toner and drum before, but never have I found instructions with the product outside of the original manufacturer. And what made this really unique - there were instructions on how to reset the drum counter so your printer could track the life of it (as happens when you replace it with new product from the original manufacturer). I have put up with that blinking drum light for thousands and thousands of copies. Now it's gone! I know longer have to guestimate how much longer it will last. And it was so simple! I have several printers and plan on looking at V4INK FIRST to purchase my consumables in the future.

Having initially posted my dismay that the drum unit I ordered didn't work on my Brother HL-2140 printer, I was contacted by the staff at V4INK who immediately sent me another drum unit along with a free toner cartridge. I was still unable to successfully install as the error LED light remained on, but the staff didn't give up. They provided more instructions, sent me a video demonstrating how to reset the drum and even had someone from their telephone customer service contact me. Finally, everything worked out. The replacement drum unit and toner cartridge are working 100% and I am absolutely thrilled with the response of everyone at V4INK. You couldn't wish for better customer service! As senior who is completely ignorant when it comes to electronics, I couldn't have wished for more helpful support. I will definitely order from this company again. I highly recommend V4INK.

I purchased a replacement cartridge from another company, and it leaked toner all over my Drum and ruined it. This replacement fit perfectly for my Brother MFC-7840W. The print quality is very nice, and the price for the two is excellent. Will definitely buy it again!

I've tried various brands of re-furbished drums. They are all hit or miss. As long as you are aware and willing the accept that, then go for it. They are , after all, only a fraction of the price of a new drum.I've had some last about as long as the original, but most last about 50% of a new one. In the case of this V4INK, it didn't even work at all. Not even a case of poor print quality - simply printed a blank sheet. Thankful for Amazon's hassle-free return policy.Alas, I am a glutton for punishment (and too cheap to shell out $130CAD for a new drum), so I will try it again. Wish me luck!

Quality was acceptable, but despite very light printing the drum lasted only one year. A false economy. The original manufacturer's drum lasted 8 years!!!

When my original drum die I thought I'd go with non-OEM drum since compatible toners all worked out well for me. Well, the output was definitely darker then the original drum that died on me, but when it prints, it brings up 2 to 3 pages per printing page ("sticky"). It would not be so bad if the multiple stuck pages stacked perfectly on top of one another, but it would print a little bit of all the pages so now I'm wasting toner and paper. I'm not entirely sure how the drum unit, if it does, draws up papers. But after a few tries I gave up and bought myself a networked HP printer with auto duplex, couldn't be happier!

Ordered in error, should have bought DR350 drum. Have had lots of luck with V4Ink products and now exclusively use them for toner cartridges and drums for all of the laser printers at my work.

This is the second drum unit i ordered. the first one did not come with the order so i switched sellers on Amazon. it arrived on time and it installs easily and works very well. happy customer
