Foldable Lightweight Powerful Bass Over-Ear Headphones - Black

This is the second pair I've bought. (This order is for a gift) I've had my set well over a year with no issues. The sound is excellent for the sort of music I like (Dance, Trance and Drum n Bass). Nice rich bass with no buzz or distortion. Sony make a pair very similar to these in the same price bracket but believe me they don't sound as full as the JVC's but are probably more comfortable to wear'. So that choice is up to U. Sound or Comfort? Just an added note if U are thinking of buying. I would say the bass is probably too much for indie/rock guitar based music which needs more 'top end' sound for detail. But as I said, for dance/techno these are spot on & you'll find no better for this price believe me.

Brilliant set of budget headphones, do the job I needed perfectly. Comfortable for my head, sound is great, nice and loud with a nice bass output. Lead a bit shorter than I'm used to, but no deal breaker for me as it stretches to where I need to use them. Don't need / didn't want any in-line mic or volume control so these were perfect and one of only a handful of sets I could find without that sort of thing. Next time I'm in for a several hours Megabus ride, I'll probably throw these in with my luggage, seeing as they fold up quite nicely. Main use has been for watching DVDs, an hour or so gaming and listening to my CD collection. No problems with any scenario thrown at them. Too early to comment about longevity of wire connections but so far from casual every day use for my PC, they've been outstanding.

I bought these headphones so that I could plug them into my laptop and sit in the same room as my husband and watch/listen to my choice of entertainment on Amazon Prime or Netflix, whilst he watches his choice on the TV! The headphones are great - very light and comfortable, so much so that I forget I'm wearing them! The sound quality is excellent. My only criticism is that I can still hear the television in the background slightly, even when the TV is turned down quite low. Maybe I am expecting too much from them though as they are the first headphones I've ever used for this purpose so I have nothing to compare them with! They seem well made and I would recommend them.

Good quality. Punchy sound. Excellent price. The only negative is that I have to be very careful when unfolding the headphones, because it's a two-way folding mechanism and I have to remember which way to turn it, otherwise I would snap it off. So, word of warning: be gentle when unfolding the headphones.

Some aspects of these headphones will come down to personal taste, such as the added bass (which isn't my preference) but two things bring them down beyond that. 1) The cable is much too short for gaming. I sit right next to my pc and it only just reaches the front headphone socket. 2) The headphones are rather uncomfortable to be worn for long sessions, with them squashing my ears. I'm not really one for pumping up the bass - I generally have it turned off on my stereo. But with these headphones the bass booster amps it right up, is rather loud, and I don't like it. Means I have to fiddle with various settings on my pc (for each type of music) to try and cancel them out, which is not ideal. It can be interesting hearing parts of tunes that would usually be submerged with the bass off, but as the level isn't really controllable it's an annoying faff finding the right balance. Sometimes on a song by song basis! And for that reason I can't really recommend them, though for some they will be doing what they want and are good headphones.... Just not my cup of tea, and aren't very practical with the cable length.

Work well and good price.

Decent enough headphones with a good clear sound. The problem with these types of headphones is you just know they won't last too long before they snap. Overall decent enough for the price. Well enough for the money and very easy to use. Compact and comfortable.

Good headphones, I wouldn't use this in the tube or anywhere other than home but for work they are more than fine. Sound quality not incredible but better than most at this price range.

I bought these headphones for $17, with little hope for their quality. I needed them to listen to music from my laptop at work. The only reason I decided to try and buy them was the brand - JVC is an old and reputable Japanese brand. I have had many devices by JVC in the past, and all were outstanding. I have to note that the quality is truly amazing for the price. It is a little bit bass-heavy, but not overwhelmingly so. I like bass, so for me, they are really sounding great. Also, they are very comfortable to wear for hours and are also very suitable for larger heads. They needed a couple of days to break in. And the more I listen to them, the better the quality gets. They are also very light, but look sturdy at the same time. All in all, highly recommend buying them, if you are not seeking wireless headphones or noise-canceling ones.

Poor design. Tight on the ear. Can't wear for 5 minutes. Sound quality average.
