CA&T Cat Scratching Post Pole tree tower Biege

I bought this after seeing it in someone else's house and getting their recommendation. My cats absolutely love it and it's very sturdy! It did take my kitten only about a month to destroy the attacked toy, but I've seen him destroy others within hours!

Excellent scratching post. Perfect for our Ragdoll. This post is very sturdy. Our cat pulls herself up on it with her whole body weight and it doesn't move at all.

One of the best purchase I made for my cat. He gets a nice long stretch when he uses this. Easy to set up and doesn't take up much space. Good quality materials. Had this for 2 years and it still holds up. My cat tore through the previous cat posts but this doesn't break/tear.I highly recommend this to cat owners over the smaller cat posts.

Arrived damaged - the top corner was quite badly smashed and scratched, very visible (see photo). The plastic bag containing the necessary dowel, screws etc was also jammed in between the two halves of the scratch post and I couldn’t get it out (see photo). It’s very big and heavy, and I have therefore kept it as it’s just too difficult to return, but I’m not very pleased. That said, it is definitely sturdy and had it not been damaged it would look lovely in the home. It is a good size too, and my cats like it which is the main thing I guess. Looking back at other reviews however, there are quite a few that mention that the item was damaged on arrival, and I wish I had taken note of that before ordering. As quality is important to me I can only give this 4 out of 5 stars, but had it arrived in good condition I would have given it full marks. It is a nice scratch post apart from the damage.

Great item, nice and sturdy

Initially my indoor cat was suspicious about the new scratcher, it took him a few days before he tried it.Because he’s a heavy cat, he used to almost topple normal scratchers, especially as he always reached up near the top. This one is very solid. I wondered if my boy would try to sit on top, as some reviewers have shown, but think he knows his bottom is probably too large.An advantage is to be able to turn it around should one side become overused, but so far it seems to withstand his scratching easily. Great purchase

The product seemed good quality out of the box, nice and tall, good scratch post material. However once I assembled it I found the design flaw which has made me return it immediately. The underside requires only two screws, which are easily installed with the included Allen key, however the screw heads do not sit anywhere near flush so if you have a hard floor, or even a thin carpet, this post will not be stable at all and could scratch wooden flooring. If you have a thick carpet you're probably ok but best to be aware.

Very steady, great design. We have four cats and the post still looks like new. No interest in scratching the sofa anymore. I would highly suggest based on the quality
