Ello Elsie Glass Water Bottle with Silicone Stopper

Over all, this is a thoughtfully designed and durable product, one which I enjoy using.The glass body keeps water tasting good, and virtually eliminates the potential for chemical seepage into the water (there is plastic in the cap, but it doesn't concern me much). The silicone seal is very tight and feels as if it will hold up well against use. 22 ounce capacity is, in my opinion, the perfect size. It feels high quality and is aesthetically pleasing.There is one small con to this product: if you wear lipstick or lipgloss and drink from this bottle, the makeup will transfer from the rim of the glass and get trapped in the cap when you re-cap the bottle. This can be somewhat annoying to clean out. I anticipate that if you were to use the bottle for things like teas or juices, the cap could get a little nasty in the silicone seal.Over all this is a really nice product, nice enough that after I got mine, my boyfriend decided to buy his own. :)

I use this to take water to work and the gym. I’ve used this same brand and type for over 7 years. The one I had I broke due to dumb human error. The only possible problem you will find is after years of opening and closing, the rubber lid will get a bit looser and if you happen to turn it on its side, it may leak a tiny bit. But this is over many years of use! I still gave 5 stars for leakproof because my newer one doesn’t leak at all. Don’t let that be a reason to not purchase this product. Also, the instructions say to not put hot water in it, probably due to scalding possibilities, but I have a hot/cold water cooler, and I mix them so I’m drinking warm water at work and it’s never been a problem! I have 3 different colored ones and if there were more color choices, I would buy more because the price is so low for the lengthy use you get out of them and I love all the colors.

Just be warned, the teal color leans more green than blue (the product picture is accurate), but the brightness is perfect to make the silicone part stand out and look pretty cool and hip (in my opinion). The overall feel is of the old milk bottles that used to get left on porches, and there is quite a bit of weight to it. The bottle curves in on the sides, and there are grips, so it's not all slippery. Cleans well in the dishwasher. I like it without silicone grips, because it's a lot cleaner in form factor and cleaner in general. The lid is definitely leak proof, and withstands getting tossed around in my messenger bag. Would consider buying in other colors!

This is a very heavy, thick glass bottle. Which is good and not so good. It's good because it should last long and resist breakage (unless I drop it on ceramic tile or concrete). It's not so good because it's quite heavy so it adds a lot of weight to carrying a water bottle and it's difficult to drink from because the top rim is so thick. The lid seals well but can't be removed from the bottle so if I want to run it through the dishwasher, the lid has to go with it. I will keep it but had I known how heavy it was (i.e. picked it up in a store), I would have purchased something a little less thick/heavy.

I actually love this water bottle.I’ve seen reviews on other Ellis water bottles festering with mold on the inside of the cap but that has not happened to me with this model because the inside cap is made of hard plastic.It’s 22 oz. so I’m not constantly having to refill it. I think it’s pretty much perfect.The only thing I can think of that is at all an issue is the mouth is very wide so if you’re drinking and you tilt the bottle a little too far up you may get a splash of water on your face, but this is cancelled out for me because of the fact that I can put normal size ice cubes in it, so it is less of a hassle.

This is the 3rd one I have purchased. They fit perfectly on the door of my RV's refrigerator. They travel very well, and the attached caps don't get lost and seal tight, so no leaks if they happen to fall over. It's great that the caps come in different colors when using them for different liquids. i.e. milk vs. cream. I also have found the wide mouth makes them very easy to clean.

The most perfect glass bottle ever. Wide top so it's easy to clean. Sturdy - haven't dropped it yet but it looks strong. Fits in cupholders fine and isn't tippy. It's adorable. The top seals perfectly. I love it.

my favorite mug. It is easy to clean in a dishwasher. I wouldn't put it in a bag, as the lead might open against something. But the sealing is good too. I've got 5 of them so far (dropped one to break and lost the others) but they are durable
