Worked great to fix my lack of skill at marking and cutting the electrical box openings in new drywall that I was hanging. I had some gaps that I didn't think would cover well with just mud. I used these and got the perfect fit and had no problems with the mud.

So i was working on a project on an exterior wall. I checked for studs and cut my drywall hole. When it was open I learned it contained a stud. So I had to make my hole wider on one side. This will allow you to mount an electrical outlet or switch, and use this to build up drywall mud to cover the excess hoek that extends past the receptacle and face plate. I didn't know I need it, until the error and Google.This is a lot easier then putting mud on the side of an outlet box or using wood scraps and screws. Measure the space you need before buying.
