This device, even though a little pricey is absolutely worth it. I have now used it for several months and am very pleased with it. No nonsensical rainbow vomit of led lights, feels very comfortable to palm or claw grip. The dpi can be adjusted on the fly without installing bloatware. Its a durable workhorse. Thank you Benq! Please continue making such great products.

You get what you pay for. Very comfortable grip and after long gaming session my hand doesn’t feel fatigued. Great for fps games such as CS GO, Valo etc.

First impression is good. Trying out different settings w/ different scenarios in gameplay. Only time will tell how well this mouse holds up overall.

The mouse I received has an issue with the sensor, it stops working for a split second every time I glide the mouse. I will be getting it replaced and refunded soon. It's happening frequently every 7 seconds or so of moving the mouse around. I bought a new one and not refurbished one. And there is a difference between the EC2-C and EC2-CW (not in India yet). EC2-C is till on the 3360 sensor.

Great gaming mouse, however quality control is severely lacking. I've had issues with double clicking and the cursor going haywire within 6 months.

TLDR: The only minus on this mouse is the scroll wheel click, which requires more force than previous version. I've been using BenQ Zowie EC2-B for years, which is older and a bit larger (medium size, based on BenQ Zowie website) than this EC3-C (small size). BenQ Zowie EC, FK, ZA, etc. are shape models, and numbers 1, 2, 3 are sizes, 1 being the largest and 3 being the smallest. Letters A, B, C describe the "version" of the mouse. A is oldest and C is newest. Comparing this EC3-C to EC-2B, at first I noticed much better feeling of the click, both mouse 1 & 2 and side buttons. On EC2-B the side buttons especially felt a bit loose and soft, now on EC3-C I can describe them as firm, clicky and responsive. The sound produced by clicks is also pleasant. They have also improved the surface of the scroll wheel, you get a good grip from it and scrolling feels accurate. However, the scroll wheel click requires noticeable more force compared to EC2-B. If I would have, for example, frequently used keybind on it in a game (such as map key M) I would switch the keybind, because it requires too much force now to click the scroll wheel constantly. The surface of the mouse feels great. On EC2-B, my hand always tried to claw grip it no matter what, and for that it was a bit too large for me. EC3-C seems to fit perfectly for me. From the bottom of the mouse you can adjust polling rate between 125, 500 and 1000 Hz. Available DPIs are 400, 800, 1600 and 3200, which are "the standards". You can tell which DPI is currently activated by the color of it, check manual. I've personally been using 800 and nowadays 1600. The look of the mouse is really sleek, just a little Zowie logo, no flashy RGB lights etc. The cable is also braided now, where EC2-B cable wasn't. No buggy software needed, just plug'n'play. This is how I like my gear to be. It is also supplied with spare pads. I definitely recommend this mouse. Consider tho, whether you need to click scroll wheel a lot.
