Good breakfast porridge. micro wave for longer than usual to ensure the meal is cooked through, and not gritty.

Easy cook oats
The steel cuts oats is a nice healthy choice for breakfast. Love the taste.But found it very easy to cook, pre-socking them in milk are water before cooking over night,helps to cook them a little quicker. The oats can be cooked in the microwave and on the stove. I would buy the product again, and I would also recommend them to friends and family.

Just discovered that a small tin of baked beans a one portion of oats mixed is a hot 300 calorie breakfast. Bought 2 more.One comment on here talks about microwave splatter and is right - you must cover the bowl and so heating them on a hob gives perfect results every time

Good but not Grand
I liked these oats very much but not enough to continue to use them without trying other brands supplied by Amazon. I have no idea what "Steel Cut" refers to, but the product was very tasty and will be considered for permanent use after trying at least one more brand, this was always my plan of action.

Much better than standard porridge
I love this oatmeal. I grew up in New York City, and this was something you'd find in specialty shops there. It's much different from rolled oats, because it takes a lot longer to cook (not the 5 minutes it says on the can), and it doesn't get as mushy as standard rolled out flakes. It's flavorful and delicious, and I love cooking this up for a hot breakfast on a cold morning.

Great. Exactly as described. Delicious steel cut oats. Just make sure that the instructions are followed properly. I make the porridge the night before to achieve the best result.
