Can't say enough good things about this radio. Both AM and FM work flawlessly with solid tuning. The sound is about as good as the old school table radios you remember which for what it is isn't bad at all. Tone control does the job in the simple way that it should. The USB function is awesome! Bought a few years ago and I still am exceptionally happy with the purchase.

We bought this so my son could have music during the day when he's playing or reading, but I wanted to make sure I could have more "soothing sounds " for nighttime and this was perfect. I was able to transfer songs to a microSD card and that's now what plays at night, and he has access to the radio when he wants. As a bonus I love it's vintage look, it suits my sins personality and his room.

I revised this review after further checking further into why the radio was stopping after each mp3 file. As it turns out, the issue was in the mp3 files. Once I replaced the usb drive with revised mp3 files, everything worked flawlessly. I bought this radio as a gift to my mom especially because of its ability to play MP3 files from a USB Drive. I loaded it with 250 songs and gave it to Mom. She loved it! It looks and sounds great! Love love love it!!!

I love that this radio has so many features! I will listen to both FM and AM radio and then easily switch over to my blue tooth and listen to a book or music. I highly recommend this radio!!
