Battery Adapter DM18D with USB,Compatible with Dewalt 18V Tools.Convert for DeWalt 20V & for Milwaukee M18 Lithium Battery to NiCad & NiMh Battery Tools

I got this for my Dewalt DG6300B generator. The adapter fit it perfectly and the Milwaukee battery fit the adapter perfectly. Plug it in and hit the starter button and it worked perfectly. So much cheaper than buying a battery and charger to only use to start the generator when all my cordless tools are Milwaukee.If you need an adapter I wouldn't hesitate to recommend giving this one a try.

Able to continue to use my older DeWalt tools with newer 20v batteries. Great idea. A little difficult to remove battery but not a deal-killer.

It works. That’s not faint praise, it’s what I expected from the DeWalt DCA1820 adapter and didn’t get.The DeWalt adapter holds the 20V battery at a funky angle that keeps the circular saw from making a full-depth cut. This one doesn’t.

It fits both the batteries and the tool.

Works for it's intended purpose. The batteries used in it will not charge via the adapter in the older model charger. also it is extremely difficult to remove from the battery but it may get easier with a little use. After purchasing I decided to just buy a new model drill as opposed to another charger.

I have mostly 20v Dewalt tools these days but still use a few old drivers and saws that are 18 volt. So intead of buying bateries for these old 18 v tools, I use this adapter. Big cost saver

Started smoking when I plugged it In also it is very hard to remove due to the side clips having no spring in them

Was a DeWalt user then switched to Milwaukee tools about 4 years ago. Made the change as I wasn’t impressed with DeWalt’s 18v nano batteries. After a couple of years of moderate they failed to hold charge and I was constantly recharging to finish off jobs. For example a single charge would not be enough to break down a sheet of 18 mm ply with my circular saw. I made the switch as batteries quickly got to end of life and were very expensive to replace. For years I was down to one battery - from three to start with - and for the last couple of years my DeWalt combi, driver and circular saw have been collecting dust in their cases then a friend mentioned this adapter. I was sceptical but thought I’d give it a go…it’s cheap and if it didn’t work I have comfort of Amazon return. My DeWalt tools have now been resurrected! Not only do I have my old tools back to life and back in use, all my tools now run off the Milwaukee batteries which are super reliable, pack a punch and significantly extend time between recharging, and are great price wise. The adapter doesn’t add too much bulk and is a great fit between the tool and battery. Get one (or a few) of these adapters, you won’t be disappointed! BTW these adapters are NOT for charging. Use the charger that’s designed for the battery and leave the adapter on the power tool.

Purchased this to utilise an older DeWalt drill I had. The drill had the old stalk type battery (non lithium) which is no longer usable or chargeable. This adapter is fantastic as it now allows me to use the lithium ion batteries on the older drill. Well worth the money. DeWalt drill for a few euro.
