Glass PolishWindshield Repair Kit, Chip and Crack DIY Repair, Removes Bulls-eyes, Stars, Flower and Chips from Car Windshields - GP21101

I've not used a kit of this format before so I had to read the instructions which were not great.Once I figured out how you use it I went straight out to my car to see how well it fixes my large stone chip. It was too big for many major windscreen companies to repair and I wasn't willing to pay for a new screen so I had nothing to loose by trying this stuff out.After applying the liquid I left it quite a while before I went back out to check on it. Once I took the plastic cover off I was surprised to see how well the chip was repaired. It needs filling in a bit more but you can no longer see the original out line of the chip, all that's left is a small dent in the screen. The original chip size was 1" square and now I'm left with a 4-5mm dent. At least it won't crack in the winter now and will keep passing the MOT for years to come.Not sure if I would buy this system again as I've used different types over the years and I don't find this to be easiest but it works.

As with all these type of products preparation is key, I thoroughly cleaned the surrounding area with glasses cleaner before starting, took my time and got great results. I’m happy with the product and it worked well.

Didn't work for me, maybe because of the size of the chip and the lack of sunlight to cure it, even though I used a UV lamp.

***Before you read on please be aware I used this on a double glazed window and not a car windscreen***So I had an accident at home and managed to crack my window in two places (both small spider type cracks that didn't pierce right through the glass). As it was a bit unsightly I thought I'd give this a try instead of replacing the glass.First off the instructions were pretty clear, thumbs up there.The application of the resin itself was slightly messy, but I put this down to me having to apply it on upright glass (a car windscreen would have a slope and I don't think this would be an issue).I was surprised to see that there was actually a difference after using this. BUT...not enough of a difference. As I've said already no doubt the effect would be much better on a windscreen. However, if you can afford a professional consider that instead. This kit is handy, but not perfect. Don't expect miracles.

I hate it when you get a stone hit your windscreen, l had one the other week and called out the windscreen repair guys. I was told that although the damage with cracks was small about the size of a penny coin, they could not repair it as they said it may crack the whole screen. So I decided to give this a go. I followed the instructions and pretty much got a good repair. It did not get rid of all cracks but now you would not notice it unless you look straight at the point of impact. Just make sure you repair the screen before the cracks get water or dirt into them, I put insulating tape over my damage straight after it happened, and only took the tape off to do the repair.

This is the second kit I have bought and I like to say the kit was as very good . Unlike the first one second had no resin in the kit. This was a shock as security tape/sticker was unbroken and the box had not been tampered with so it must have been missed on production. Shame as my first kits still working well just needed the resin so really the kits of no value to me.

This was my first attempt at fixing my windscreen with no insurer involved. I'd left it late and had a crack about 20cm creeping up into the driver's vision, and another about 40cm creeping across the base of the windscreen - all from the same stone chip. The instructions were really clear and helpful (read them). The kit does a really good job and stopped my cracks in its tracks.

I found this kit very easy to use and once the repair to my windscreen was done had to look very closely to to find it. Very pleased with it and would definitely recommend.
