These pens are quite expensive, but they do give one of the best lines of any I've used.It is quite frustrating that the ink is not waterproof so you cannot apply paint over the top of the lines, but otherwise they are lovely to use. The pens arrive sealed in a plastic sleeve to keep them fresh, and they can dry out quite easily. Not for a novice, but if you enjoy calligraphy or illustration these will provide you with a different line.

Lovely for thick and thin lines - this pen is fab for practising line-art and gives an amazing effect that you just can't recreate with normal pens.It takes a bit of getting used to, but it's well worth it!I've also found that I have better control over other pens since working with this one - it's very pressure sensitive and if you practise enough with this one, you'll see a definite improvement in other mediums of art.Only downsides are that it's not great for working with colour - I use gouache paint and it smudges the pen quite badly. I'm sure you can use it with more watery mediums just fine if you do the coloured bits first and then go back in for the line-art when the colours have dried, but I prefer to use my Pentel brush pen for that as the ink it just that tiny bit more resilient.

I've actually bought this product three times as I liked it so much, twice for myself and once for a friend who wanted one as a gift after they saw mine.The ink is black on first application however does fade a fair bit, so it doesn't remain a deep black once dry. This is the only reason I didn't put 5 stars.The brush itself is wonderful to write with, the tip retains it's shape incredibly well and is capable of producing an extremely thin line and well as decently broad sweeping strokes.Be warned, it is a very soft brush though, too soft for some but I personally like it.

Responsive and non skipping.

I absolutely love these! I've been using Pentel Pocket Brush pens for a long time and I will always absolutely adore them, but this Zig Clean Color pen is without a doubt my new favourite. With the littlest amount of pressure, I can get finer lines than I've been able to achieve with any other brush pen and I've found that I have much more control over line thickness and smoothness of application. I feel like I'll be using these for the rest of my life.

I purchased this black and 5 others various light and dark greys.Was a lovely surprise when they arrived much earlier than expected (a week early)! Well protected and packaged and each pen was sealed.Tried out each pen to check colours and they're beautiful, glides across the paper, gives great control over thickness of lines. Think these will make a big difference in my artwork. Definitely worth the money!

Love these pens. I drew quite a lot before it dried out. will definitely purchase again.
