We use them today to make homemade paper for Valentine’s Day and it was so fun. This is my three year-old using it. Great quality worth the money. We’ve never done this before and it was easy to use.

This is the first deckle frame I’ve used. I was able to make very nice paper from a yellow egg carton. The screen is flush with the frame on the part where the paper material settles. When you open the top part it is easy to release the paper onto a waiting cloth. I am really happy with this item. I ordered larger sizes which were by a different maker. With those the screen is set into the lower frame, not flush with the top and it isn’t as easy to get the wet paper to release even with blotting it. Also the edges are not as neatly defined. This deckle is great and I wish my larger models were just like it!

I had so much fun making paper!! It did mold a bit and the wood expanded because of the water when making the paper, but it was overall nice. Also I would recommend letting the paper dry fully before removing it off, it comes out nicer.

Very tiny. Pay close attention to the dimensions. The wood is not high quality and starts to discolor and warp after a few uses and the hinges have already began to rust. But you get what you pay for I suppose, thought I wouldn’t say it’s a good bang for your buck, you could probably make one for cheaper.

Make your own stationary. Add pressed flowers. Add personal favorite items.

There are a few things that make this mould and deckle bad. First, the mesh is string, and it’s not very durable. I got a hole in mine on the first sheet I made. Second, the mesh is pinched between two pieces of wood. This means, there is no point in having the deckle, because the mesh isn’t flush with the wood. This means it makes it nearly impossible to get the wet paper out of the mould without tearing it. Third, the hinges attaching the two pieces together are very cheap. The screws weren’t screwed in properly and the hinges immediately rusted. Overall, I got 4 pieces of paper out of this piece of junk, and they all had holes in them because of the torn mesh. Do not waste your money on this. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

I am new to paper making. This mould and deckle made life a whole lot easier. And was simple to use. Can’t wait to make more paper!

It's not your top quality product but it works well for the purpose of paper-making on a small home scale (for fun and crafts).

This was my very first time making paper and I am thrilled with the results. Keep in mind that the measurements shown are not for the paper size that it will create but the frame size. I was expecting a larger frame however it turned out to be just perfect for my home made journals.

Should have trusted the bad reviews! Item is damaged and I could have hurt myself. Very loose too!

I ordered this for my daughter and she’s made lots of paper with it, she really likes it!
