Will this unit bluetooth to an external speaker so i can listen in other rooms?

Yes, you can implement this playback function via Bluetooth connection. Prior to Bluetooth pairing, verify your device supports Bluetooth 4.0+EDR A2DP and your device is not connected to any other Bluetooth product. Devices may pair differently. You can press to the M5+ internet radio Source button to choose Bluetooth mode and turn on the Bluetooth on your enabled device. Then select Bluetooth device name “LEMEGA M5+” when it appears on your device's screen to initiate searching. Finally, You can start to play your music files wirelessly. Adjust the volume level on your device. You should not have to pair your device again.

Does this unit need to be connected by Ethernet cable for Spotify internet radio or can u do it on wi fi signal？

You can use Spotify function via Ethernet connection or wifi connection to make sure the radio and your player device connect to the same wireless network. With Spotify Connect feature lets you play and control all your music wirelessly. Select music on your smartphone or tablet and hear on the radio. To use Spotify Connect Steps: 1. Download Spotify app for your Smartphone or tablet ( iOS or Android) . 2. Connect the radio to the same wireless network as your Smartphone or tablet, and then press the MODE button repeatedly to select Spotify Connect mode. 3. Open Spotify app on your Smartphone or tablet and play a song. 4. Touch the picture of the album at the bottom left of the screen. Then press Connect icon 5. Press M5+ to select your radio and it will start playing from you M5+. Note that radio is that " LEMEGAxxxxxxxxxxxx " ( 12-digit number is the MAC address of the radio ) in Spotify app.
