I just received this cane today. aside from the beautiful shiny colored print (red flowers and berries)the quad base is the perfect size to give you confidence and real support. I've had too large and cumbersome, and too small for best balance and safety. The silicone handle is perfect too, not hard plasticor cheap tearable, unwashable foam.

Have only had this for a couple days, but am liking it. It's definately a bit heavier than a regular cane, but not so much so that it's cumbersome. It will take a bit to get used to after using a regular cane for so many years. I feel safer with it at night when I get drowsy watching tv and then heading to bed. I got the black with flowers and berries one. And THE BEST thing about it............. it doesn't tip over if it's not on an absolutely flat surface!!UPDATE: I still love this cane other than it is too top heavy because of the rubber handle when used with the 4 footed rubber tip. It tips over at the slightest bump. I had been using it with the large metal 4 footed bottom but switched to the rubber one. I would like to take off the rubber handle and replace it with a lighter handle but I can't for the life of me get the thing off. Granted, the rubber handle is nice when using the large metal 4 footed device. But for the rubber one it's too heavy. That's why I'm taking off a star from my original 5 star review.

I usually don't write reviews, but wanted to help people decide. This is the first Cane that my Mom has used and she loves it. She was hesitant to use one, but when she got ill recently she needed it. Because it isn't all black it is so much more stylish. She feels very secure using it. So happy with my choice.

Cute, but the base was way too small for my needs.

I broke my fibula in two places last year and had been using a walker given to me in rehab. I became dependent on the walker and was having a hard time breaking away from it. This three way cane is helpful in breaking my dependency. At the moment, I am still using the quad cane attachment, but hope to step down as I regain my confidence and stability again after my fall.

I got the cane for a friend of mine who had a stroke and needed aid to walk. He's a bigger guy and this cane is very sturdy and helped to improve his walking.

This cane is heavy, too heavy for me to use. It was also hard to adjust the length. It has a little button to push in but it is too small and hurts my finger when I need to adjust it.
