Best £10 I’ve spent !
Returned after 1 year:I was very sceptical about this.I have two little Houdini’s who will try and escape car seats (and pram seats) either as soon as he gets in, or 60mph going down the motorway😩I’ve tried other stuff that didn’t work and when I first fixed it to the Seat I didn’t think it would work. The good points are that you don’t need to take the car seat apart to attach this clip.I can’t stress this enough to be honest! We tried another design that needed to be fittted to the car seat in a way where the entire seat had to be taken apart ! Nightmare !)It is adjustable to other harnesses ( such as the pushchair one, which I subsequently did!) and you could quickly move it from the car seat to wherever else it’s required.I won’t be doing this , I will buy another( and have done !) , simply because I never want to not have this product on my car seat again.I’ve put my little one in his seat and tightened the straps, as I would normally and then attached the clip. When you Fasten it there is an option to ‘lock’ the clip so he cannot open the clip. The clip itself didn’t feel overly tight. I didn’t think it did anything to the straps at all at first .Initially that disappointed me as I thought the clip would pull the straps tighter in the middle and so stopping him from getting his arms out.Turns out it doesn’t need to do anything to the straps . And perhaps that’s even intended since you’re technically not meant to attach anything to the car seat .The fact of the clip being there stops him from completely moving his arm out because it stops his motion. He has tried to get out every single time since I’ve purchased this and has been unsuccessful, so until now it’s a 100% success rate. He’s gotten a bit bored of it now too presumably because he’s not able to do it anymore, so it works both physically but also psychologically as a deterrent.I’m really really pleased with this product!I just need him to stay in the car seat. It’s such a worry when they are able to do that but are too young to understand he danger or consequences. The little bee toy can be detached , and has a rattle in it . He hates the bee so I’ve taken it off but maybe other children like playing with it. His sister now holds it in the car .Shortly after this review his twin sister started the escapist routine also so I purchased one for her. Neither of them have been able to escape it so for us it works. We’ve also fitted these to the pushchair though we no longer need them now.

Resolved problem instantly
Only bought this as no matter how tight i did straps, my 20th month old could get his arms out, dribing done motorway with no hard shoulder and both arms out scared me to death. Ordered this that afternoon for evening delivery, little bit pricey for what it is (son not interested in the little toy that comes with it, maybe lose the toy and lower the price abit.Works like a dream, cant get arms out now. But i am aware as soon as a learns to not take arms out, ill be removing it again, so its alot of money (to me) for a short period of time - but i suppose if it keeps him from this period of trying to get hims arms free then its worth it.

It works and my child loves the toy
No longer need to worry about my child breaking her arms free from the straps. The clip is very easy to use and my child hasn't moaned about getting her arms free either. Will be ordering a second clip for the other car straight away

Works but my 3 year old can unclip it
This additional strap does stop my nearly 3 year old getting his arms out but if he plays with it enough, he can unclip it which then defeats the purpose!

Life Saving Invention Best Houdini escape stopper
Well what can I say this is a life saver every one should have. My son who is just over 3 years old is an escape artist aka Houdini I have tried many things non worked. He slides his hands out and uses his chair to lift him self out of sit belt or uses grab rail on top to lift him self out if seat. I tried using large belt clip to put it around him but he still escaped and he does this while im driving. Which is very dangerous as I'm sure you are aware off. This belt I bought from this seller was actually 5th version I bought. all other versions did not work! how ever I did not have high hopes for this product and wow was I wrong. It is 1 of the best inventions out there to keep your child in his seat. Not only it works but clip it self has lock on it so he can't undo the clip. If your kid escapes non stop no matter what you try. Give this product a try you will be amazed. I have bought another one now for his brother who is 1 and half. ( as seen on image)Please note some people said their kid has escaped only thing I can think of why that has happened is because it was not installed correctly. Please see image I posted of this clip on my son you have to install it high up I would say about 1 to 2 inches from his or her chin. This will stop them taking hands out and escaping.Hope this honest review helps people out there. If you have any questions let me know and I will answer them best to my knowledge. Many thanks for this product MAX
