These are nice heavy-duty snap ring pliers, but the tips are not replaceable or interchangeable. The case is handy for keeping the tools together but not all snap rings are the same size. These pliers will not fit many sizes, and that is a drawback.

Ordered these because my current one's tips were to large for a job. These worked well for what I needed. Remember tools work best when used correctly. As stated I have another one for larger rings. Few tools are universal. Screwdrivers, wrenches, hammers, sockets and so on vary in size, design and purpose. I would question any review stating these don't work by asking "are they being used correctly?" My only problem with these tools like all resent and future purchases is where to store them. All tool chests are full. Recommended without reservations.
