This is a great little chair - if you add some a extra support to the undercarriage. I weigh 250lbs. I would sit in it often and I believe I broke it by being above the weight limit. It broke the undercarriage. I contacted the company and sending me the parts and a new back to repair it. I was expecting lousy service so I was surprised when they contacted me immediately and were extremely helpful. I would 100% recommend this chair, if your fat dad stays away from it. The fabric is top notch, easily cleaned and cat resistant. We have a kitten. He scratched on it and you couldn’t even tell.

I had to replace a desk chair. All the desk chairs I looked at seemed uncomfortable or way too expensive, or both. Eventually I decided to use a recliner as a desk chair, and the Rankok is what I settled on. Big enough but not too big, comfortable but not too comfortable, and not very expensive. Easy to put together. Although chair wheels would be nice, I didn't see an easy way to add them. Instead I placed furniture sliders under the legs so that I can easily move the chair around a bit, and this works fine. UPDATE: I accidentally dislodged one of the metal arms or bars used to attach the back of the chair to the base of the chair, and I didn't immediately realize why one side of the chair seemed looser than another. Finally, I turned the chair over and looked. If one of the two metal bars gets out of alignment, you must pull the back all the way out of the chair and reinsert the two bars as if you were putting the chair together from scratch.

Not worth the money

I bought this chair because I wanted a recliner because I have a small den with fireplace and I wanted to be comfy and cozy when I built a fire. I didn't want it to take up a lot of room. I don't have small children who would jump on it but I do have a 70 lb Boxer. Already the dog loves the chair. My 16 year old son won't get off of it. Son is about 160 pounds. We are both around 5'4". When I recline my heels meet the edge of the foot rest. If you are taller, yes, your feel will extend past the edge of the footrest. I suspect such a light chair may not be the most durable like a huge Lazy Boy but I didn't want a huge Lazy Boy. For $109.99 I am not expecting it to last 10 years. But, if we don't abuse it, I'm betting it will last a good while. Now, I have to buy another because either the dog or son are on it when I want to be! Guess what? Two will fit in my small den. It's compact, easy to recline in and attractive. Extremely easy to assemble and takes all of 5 minutes. However, mine came and I looked at it and I could not see a way to attach the back cushion to the base. I was missing the metal sides inside the back cushion that latch on the the metal arms of the base. One email to the seller, one photo and in 2 days I had a new cushion and wasn't even asked to return the first one. The customer service reviews that said the customer service was good were absolutely true. I'm happy.

I have severe sciatica and these chairs are perfect for it. I've had them almost a year and use it daily. They are easy to clean, easy to recline and small enough to not be in the way. When these go I will buy more

The chair will not stay in the reclined position. I push it back and the legs fall down and it returns to sitting position. This chair is NOT a recliner. I am not a large person. I fit in the chair just fine. I contacted Touze and they suggested I repackage this heavy item for return. They do not have hardware solutions etc. I told them I can't repackage a 70lb item. I cannot haul a 70lb package to a UPS store. Too bad so sad. Don't believe the reviews that say they do the right thing. They do not. I called Amazon and an Amazon rep also asked Touze to fix the problem. They did not send a replacement that works.

I bought this chair to sleep in after my upcoming shoulder replacement.I've had several rotator cuff surgeries and sleeping propped up in bed didn't keep me comfortable or from rolling to my side during sleep.Since this is the end of the road for my shoulder repair I wanted to do it right. Doctors always recommended a recliner to sleep in.i bought this one for the price and because i probably won't keep it after my recovery.It was easy to assemble, came well packaged and within a week.It's small, stylish, and even my 6'1 170# husband is comfortable in it though he's a couple inches too tall when fully recilned.I'm 5'1, 135# and it's a perfect fit in every position.THE PROBLEM...pushing back to recliner takes quite bit of umph, which will be a lot of torque on my shoulder. I know I wouldn't be able to push it back after rotator cuff surgeries, I'm not sure if I'll be able to after shoulder replacement surgery.If this is purchased for post surgeries or elderly keep this in mind.
