One pair in black, one in white now faulty after 6 months and 3 months

Very bad sound
I have JBL Bluetooth speakers and JBL Bluetooth earphones and am extremely satisfied if both. Unfortunately, my phone does not connect well to the Bluetooth earphones and I decided to buy these JBL T210 at Tesco for £13. I am used to buying earphones from different brands at the same price point. I was really shocked by the sound of the T210. They are really loud in a shrieking way and the bass are terrible. This is the first time ever that I return earphones but I could not think what else to do with them.
