Larger than expected
Excellent piece of kit although larger than the picture suggested

great value and functionality, 53mm not 50mm deep
great value and functionality. A little flimsy feeling but works well.counter balance perfectly weightedgood heavy weightlots of options to pin, magnet and hook line along the back of the caseOnly comment is that the magnet (which is good and strong) sticks out about 3mm and the 50mm reference drop is from the case not the protruding magnet. This is a bit of an oversight and could lead to errors and stop the line being able to be dropped down in line with the surface the case is mounted to. I took mine apart and ground the magnet bars down to 9mm

Cheap but invaluable
This plumb Bob is exceptionally easy to use as it is magnetic and great for steel structures but also has a built in spike for timber work.Truthfully, it looks a bit cheap and nasty but I like mine so much I bought a spare to keep in the truck. It’s also more rugged than you might imagine and the magnet isn’t a cheapo bit of nonsense, it hangs on like my old man to a pound coin.

What a great little plumb bob. Nice and simple to use ( even though the instruction translation could do with some work ). Love the fact that there is a built in pin that can attach the bob to suitable material with just the heel of your palm.This is also magnetic which has also come in useful
