The price of these pillows is the only downside (I paid ~$135 ea). Why does comfort have to be so expensive. I think I am only upset at the price as I had to order a few pillow sets before realizing I should have purchased these first. Now, I will never buy a pillow that is not at least 50% down Any sleep position works well with these pillows. They fluff back to shape very easily. Yeah they smelled weird for a few days but that went away. Shipping was fast and the packaging isn't low budget. they come with a carrying case (who is really going to use that). I don't feel any poking feathers sticks thru the pillow even with the case off. This brand is not clumpy at all. Final Disposition: SMOOTH, SOFT, SUTTLE pillows that are true Hotel like; giving me the best sleep I've had. However, little question mark in my head thinks I could have bought the 50/50 version, saved $ and not know the difference

OMG really They are not kidding - if you think you have slept on a great down product before wait to be impressed. I was blown away. These are absolutely 100% down (no feathers) you can really feel the difference. This was the less expensive set but still exquisite. The cotton sateen is lovely and soft and the stitching is great. I will be buying more. Additionally, I reached out to customer service with specific questions and they were very quick to reply and were very thorough. EastCoastBedding is the company for me and I will look for more in the future. I will update my review after a few months but I am thrilled with my purchases. They are beautiful and to get a set of this quality for 1/2 the price of a major speciality retailer is amazing. Note: Response from Company regarding my question about cruelty free practices: "All of our products are cruelty free and no force feeding and no live plucking. and they are all hypoallergenic."

I'll give it 4 stars due to the fact its a quality pillow. Lesson learned though, don't buy down/feather pillows online. There is no firmness at all nor neck support if you use the pillow buy itself. I had to use both pillows stacked to give any type of support and I sleep on my side. You've been warned. These are good quality pillows without a doubt, but the fail is this ; not enough firmness at 550 fill power for side sleepers per pillow, no pillow cover that is removable and washable, so I'll have to go buy some, When I lay my head on the pillow it flattens out to where you have about 1 inch of cushion on the head with NO neck support. Definitely not the feather pillows I was used to when I was growing up. Next time I'll have my mom make the pillows for me at half this price.

Let me preface this. I wanted to NOT like this pillow. Why? Because it's almost $200 for a single pillow. I wanted to believe in the foam pillows. I wanted to believe in the down alternative. I wanted to spend 30 on a pillow and be done with it. Really. But I'm sharing this with you to let you know it's all wrong. And this is indeed the promised land when it comes to pillows. Why is it so good? Is everything online that they say correct about down being the best pillows? Yes it really is. Here's why. First it sleeps completely room temperature. It's almost crazy how it does it. You can have your head on it and feel the heat go right off and into the down oblivion. Doesn't warm up at all. Tested even after a hot shower. Now the firmness. I was told down is not as firm. Depending on the fill power this being 600+ it is going to get you there. This pillow is NOT soft and squishy. You smack it with your hand and it's going to push back. Now you might be thinking but I don't want a firm rock solid pillow. Read carefully now because this is where the magic of down really kicks in. Although the pillow is 'firm' your head sinks into it like a puddle. The significant difference is right here. Foam pillows, down alternatives and regular pillows ALL push back on you harder the more you lay into the pillow. They do this in an uneven matter too. This does NOT. It's like a magical float. I am a side sleeper and regular pillows all push back on me or are too squishy with no. Support. I would wake up with sore cheekbones and sore side of the neck from the pillow pushing on my face or neck. This feels like nothing is there. Simply support Now cheapy Joe you might of seen other pillows on Amazon with tons of great reviews. This one can't be that much better can it? I have the Hilton Down alternative (one with the 50k reviews) praying hoping it would be the same performance with 1/4 of the price. To the touch they are about the same but when you lay on it your head gets uneven pressure and it's not enjoyable. I can't emphasize it enough, this pillow gives you a cloud like float. You can sleep on your eye and it won't even feel any pressure. A comforting all around the head cuddle. Top 3 best purchases I have ever made.

LOVE THESE PILLOWS!! I bought one set of these (550 powerfill) and one set of the 800 powerfill as well. I use one of each for sleeping. Both are really great pillows....so soft and yet strangely supportive at the same time. I did't expect to love these. I have been sleeping on Tempur pillows for over 10 years now. After staying in a hotel recently with down (50% down/50% Feather) pillows....I slept great on them. I checked Amazon and found these 100% down and figured these were worth a try. Glad I did. I have been sleeping so great since these arrived. They perfectly conform to any shape you want. They are perfectly hugable and provide support at the same time. As for the 550 fill vs the 800 fill, I am happy to have one of each. The 550s are a little less fluffy than the 800s, but either set make for a great night's sleep. I can't imagine anyone would't love these.
