I am not a pro diver not do I Scuba to and depth but rather a casual snorkler. I bought these to help maintain the pool in my back yard and they excel in this application.

I wanted some snorkel gear since we are living in Baja every winter now. I bought the Atomic Venom first for $169 thinking that I should pay up for a top quality mask. I wanted to like it but it leaked a bit like every mask I have ever had. The field of view seemed constricted somehow and it was not particularly comfortable either. For that money I would never have been happy with it. Since I had bought a Kraken snorkel at the same time and it worked great on my test swim so I decided to try their mask as well especially after these good reviews. It's a winner, very comfortable fit and field of vision, the silicone is great. It has a frame unlike the Venom but so what? It's more comfortable on my face. Like every mask I have ever tried the inner seal does not quite fit the right side of my face but it doesn't seem to matter with this mask, it seals quite well on the outer seal. Now I am set for Baja this winter and also getting $141 back. I'm very happy I tried this mask.

I returned mask without using. With wetsuit gloves on insufficient room to pinch your nose for equalizing pressure. I think it would be a good mask for snorkel use but not suitable for scuba or freediving, as they advertise. Also cost me $20.00 for return postage which was not refunded. Reordered a Mares X Free which I'm hoping will be more suitable.

Very comfortable and seals well

I used the Kraken Aquatics mask and snorkel on a recent trip to Hawaii. The mask fits nicely and does not leak, the strap adjustment are super easy, and the snorkel's one way purge valve works as advertised. I had an issue with my original shipment that I had to resolve quickly before leaving for vacation. Kraken contacted me on a Saturday and shipped the replacement, I believe, on the same day to ensure I had what I needed for my trip.
