Biore Deep Cleansing Pore Strips 14's Face & Nose

I love these. I have been using these for 10+ years. I have tried other brands but none compare. It is important to read the instructions and follow them properly otherwise they will do nothing. They don't resolve clogged pores (it is still important to have a good skin care routine -clense, tone, moisturise) but they do help reduce the visible size of them when used regularily. My husband started using them (and cleansing am + pm) and the pores on his nose have halved in size.I get brilliant results with loads of sebum on the strips when I remove them and these are the steps I follow1.Clense with a wash off clenser to remove facial oil and dirt2. Steam my face or stand with hot water running on my face in shower for atleast 5mins3. Dry hands and immediately apply strips to wet face.You can apply a bit of water ontop if needed but be careful as too much washes away alot of the glue. The strip should stick well and feel slightly damp but not wet.4. Leave on until strip has dried solid - like paper mache (Sometimes i use a hair dryer to help speed this up) and then remove by holding the skin taut and removing slowly from the edge to the middle then repeat for the other wise until the whole strip is off (it can be uncomfortable).5. Throughly rinse face with cold water to remove reminents of glue and close pores. Wait atleast an hour before putting make up on - longer the better otherwise you'll just clogg your pores right back up.

Review written by the Mrs:I'm a loyal buyer of the Bioré pore strips and I am happy to pay a bit more as I really do believe no other brand works as well. I like this packet as it contains both the nose and face strips at a competitive price (although you could probably get them at a similar price in Superdrug or Boots when they have a promotion is on). If you follow the instructions carefully, wash your face before use, then wet the area you want to apply the pore strip on - although I usually wet my entire face and gently dry it after I have applied the strips on my nose and chin as I feel they stick better to very wet skin - and then leave to dry until they feel completely hard (usually 15-20 min). Once hard it is best to slowly (very slowly) pull one side of the strip while holding down the skin underneath (then proceed with the other side so the two meet in the middle). It might be a bit more painful then pulling them off fast but it will get more of the dirt out (there's quite a number of tutorials on YouTube for the best way to remove). I recommend using them once a week to help keep your pores clean.

I love these pore strips, however, I only received nose strips, not both face and nose as advertised. I'm a little disappointed

i have been trying to find nose strips that actually give results in removing blackheads/whiteheads like they claim to on the box, i have gone for own name brands such as wilko, superdrugs and even expensive ones with the active charcoal! None of them have worked as well as the biorè.I found it helps if you wet the majority of your face as the strips go over the edges of your nose, this also helps them stick really well. Splash with the warmest water you can take as it will open up your pores. stick the strips down and i use a towel to smooth it down and hold it for a few seconds so it stays in place. After waiting the given time on the box hold your skin taught so it will achieve the best results in unclogging your pores and pulling the oil and blackheads out. Worth paying that little bit extra!

I ordered the 14 face & nose strips, but recieved 14 special edition nose strips. On the back it has a sticker saying it is for face & nose which is different from the actual product (as you can see from the pictures). They work well, just not exactly what I ordered as I wanted the face strips as well!

These strips are amazing!!! I was kind of skeptical as I've never used them before but was getting terrible black heads on my TZone. I had looked at the charcoal peel off masks but they sounded so horrible and bad for your skin whereas these sounded effective without the pain. It's ridiculously satisfying seeing all the gunk it draws out of your skin painlessly. They are easy to use and you can cut them up so they can be used anywhere your face. If you are on the fence BUY THEM, my face is so smooth and clean now and it feels so tingly.

I bought it thinking it would remove my pores however I was MAJORLY displeased when it DIDNT work at all!!!Nothing came out even when I have lots of pores on my nose. I've been following the instructions accurately EVEN applying before a long shower!.i then thought that my skin wasn't suitable for this but then a few of my friends tried it and was apauled when it DIDNT work for them either.!I'm very upset and angry and definitelyNever buying again

I have tried all kinda of pore strips including the black peel off masks that the internet has rated so highly and tbh it was crap! These are the only ones that acually pull the dirt out and make my skin look lovely. I'd recommend not buying those internet trend ones and stick to these!
