PD Care Mobility Scooter Storage Cover Heavyweight

There is nothing wrong with this cover and it works exactly as intended, it keeps the scooter clean and dry. The reason i have only given it 3 stars is more to do with my own personal difficulties. I found it a real struggle to fit the cover in even the slightest wind. Obviously having a scooter I have mobility problems but I also have balance problems and bending or kneeling down to fit the cover at the front and back posed huge problems for me even in the calmest of weather.This type of cover isn't suitable for my needs and I will look for an alternative for this winter. That's life though, live and learn.

Not long after having this cover the clip broke which meant I could no longer safely keep the cover attached to my scooter, I have had to buy some small clamps to secure The cover. The elastic is not sown into the hem of the material which makes it difficult to put onto my mobility scooter as the elastic flaps loosely and gets caught up frequently.I have two rips in the material, the latest one happened today 9/10/2018 when I was adjusting the cover to fit the scooter, the fabric has also faded in the sun light. I do not write many reviews but I do buy a lot of products from Amazon and the majority of my purchases are great, this cover however is not, maybe the other reviews for this product have been written not long after receiving it in which case it would seem ok, but after several months mine has deteriorated badly so I now need to look for an alternative product to keep my scooter dry.

The quality of this cover is excellent, really well made and looks very smart. It is quite heavy with a strong elastic cord which anchors underneath the wheels, so there is no fear of it blowing away. We have had quite a lot of rain since I bought the cover so I've had a good chance to test it - it kept my scooter lovely and dry. It is a good generous size too. Delivery was 1 day earlier than expected.

This product is great quality, very thick, waterproof, windproof and has good elasticated straps for holding in place. It is also big enough to fit my scooter with lots of room and I am sure it would fit really large scooters as well. My husband usually fits the cover for me. However, the only problem I had was when I my husband was out and I had to fit it myself. As am disabled I really struggled on my own. I found it really big and heavy and kept getting the elasticated ties caught all around the wheels and other parts and it took me about 10 where it took my husband about 2 minutes. If you were disabled on your own I can see how you could struggle (not the product's fault). If you struggle to bend and fit the elastic ties around on your own the cover could blow off (as I noticed on another review, but again this is due to disability problems and not the product). It looks a lot better quality than others I considered buying and would definitely recommend it for keeping your scooter dry in bad weather (we have definitely had a lot of it recently). The cover dries quickly also if you give it a shake and draped it over a couple of chairs.

I use this to cover my mobility scooter temporarily in the rain. It is easy to cover the scooter quickly and when I remove the cover I can fold it into a relatively small bundle and I put it in a box. It is a good shape, not just a great sheet. Very pleased indeed.

Hi Guys, my mobility waterproof scooter storage cover does what it was made for, during a recent bleak mid winter wind and rain downpour it remained dry and clean, and when the rain had gone the wind dried the outside waterproof, can't ask for anymore than that, Good value?

Read the reviees and do fsr so good its stood up to sea blast up by john o grosts snd stayed on. I used a bicycle cover from argos underneath first that doesnt stsy on by itself then I put this new one on top. I cant fault it elastic hasnt snapped yet and fits my drive 4 scooter. Bought this after my aweful canopy snapped in winds waiting now to wuickly come up with moneyto buy a shed.. This will work when in town too to keep hands off and keep it try great quality for price. Only had it couple weeks but its holding up well to north sea wind blasts. At thr price its at its cheap to replace.

I ordered this item for my friend's mobility scooter, it was described as universal, but it was very small and the material was low grade, it tore very easiy when we were trying to put it on. I had to let PayPal take charge to get my money back so don't waste yours.
