I have been feeding this every summer for over 10 years. Intensifies koi colors and use only when temps are between 60 to 70 degrees. This is a specialty item. My pond is 18,000 gallons. I also vary the type of food for my fish just as we don't eat the same thing every day either. Partial (20%) water changes are also a good idea to maintain good water quality. There is such a thing as red algae that might color the water.
