Firmness and performance as described, great for a beginner like me
I am learning to cast clear acrylic mugs. I needed a firmer silicone that would not have issues with air bubbles. I was able to mix this by hand in a fairly large batch (94 ounces total) using a simple wooden paint stirrer. I mixed slowly and thoroughly around the sides and bottom in one direction for 6 minutes. After that i tapped on the sides of the mix container for another three minutes to get as many air bubbles out as possible. I poured the entire batch in the mold and a few more small air bubbles came out, but there weren't many. Working time was at least 45 minutes. I chose to not cool the mold after since there was no need. The cured mold came out GREAT the next morning, firm as expected, very smooth, no visible trapped bubbles, and released perfectly from the core-ply mold and original mug (I used a spray release agent). Product was exactly as advertised. I showed the outcome to a friend who has a lot more experience and he said it looked great.

Pretty firm but works great
New to silicone molds and from what I'm reading this seems more firm than 30A, however it mixed well, degassed on it's own without issue and cured fully. Nothing will turn you off to a new skill it craft than a bag first experience with a product or tool. This stuff worked great, and I pulled out my first positive from a block to molds for Halloween.

Excellent material, easy to use
Great 1:1 by volume silicone system with 30A hardness and mixing was easy and was void free after degassing at 1750 microns. It has low enough viscosity that it poured easily into the small features I needed to recast a broken 3/4" diameter spur gear. Cure time was exceptional at just over 2 hours at room temperature. Tear strength is really good as it took about 50lbs of force to break a 1/8" thick section.

Tbh probably 5 stars even
To keep it short and simple this is the best beginner silicone you can get if you're looking to do just a small project or dip your toes into mold making for the very first time this is a safe expenditure of $20. It's easy to mix hard to mess up it does a fairly wonderful job degassing itself and it really really picks up the details I'm talking about the sticker from the piece of foam core board I used to make the mold box with, you can see the outline of the sticker and even make out a few of the letters where it was slightly thicker in the areas with black ink. I do arrows on the foam core board as well and those even showed up on the outside of the mold it really is pretty fantastic blows alumilite out of water in my opinion I mean I honestly can't think of a bad thing to say about this stuff... I mean I guess it does stay sticky longer than it should on the surface sometimes but I don't know what else to say this stuff will get the job done

Great Product
This silicone rubber is very easy to use, like most, it's a 1:1 ratio. It's got a pretty low viscosity, so this works really well for picking up the fine details of your positive. On the other hand, the low viscosity also means your mold barrier needs to be nearly water tight, which can be tricky for a novice just getting into creating free form molds. With other silicone rubbers I've used, I was able to get away with using plastilina and popsicle sticks for my mold barriers, as they were a bit more viscous and didn't leak out any of the small cracks that may have been present. This silicone rubber leaked out of every miniscule air gap in my rudimentary mold barrier. I just let the bottom layer set up a bit and topped off my mold again, and it turned out great. Next time I'll know to be more mindful of water tightness when using this product. It does take a little longer to set than some of the lower viscosity rubbers, but once it sets it's very flexible and feels durable. Haven't run a pull yet, but I'm hopeful I'll get many more pulls with the mold from this product than some of the others I've used. Will definitely be purchasing more in the future

Wow, this is great, and I measured by volume not weight !!!
My first silicone mold ever. I was not aware that there is a difference between 1.1 by weight, or by volume. I assumed it meant either-or. Got measuring cups, skimmed through the instructions and saw how to calculate the amount needed (by volume using sand) but I just eyeballed it. SO, I measured it out by exact volume. After I poured the mold I read the instructions again and FREAKED OUT, Oh it says by WEIGHT !!!!! Had to wait overnight on pins and needles expecting to see a gloppy mess on top of my "Monster Clay" frame sculpture, but no... It was completely firm and strong, not sticky at all. It came out perfect. 5 stars for sure. I will be getting more of this stuff. Pretty expensive, almost the entire amount used on this one project but it's worth it.
