All needed every now and again
The powers that be outlawed the use of these in unlicensed places ages ago but the f you were right with oils and paints there can’t, that I can think of, a better tool for shifting all that grime. With short bristles on one side and a set of longer bristles on the other they truly scrub in deep. It’s kept there waiting on the side of the sink just for anyone who wants to use it. My teenage daughter may be repulsed at the look and touch of it but I bet if she got a bit of oily grime on her ring finger the very time she hoped her this week boyfriend trips to one knee she will give the brush a quick scrub. Just this once.

Really good quality
Excellent value for money - bristles are stiff enough to do a really good job without being prickly or uncomfortable. They don’t fall out when you use it and it feels really solid and well made. I didn’t think I had an opinion about nailbrushes, nor did I think I’d pay more than a quid for one, until I went through a succession of naff, cheap plastic ones which either didn’t do the job from the word go or fell apart within minutes. Wish I’d bought this one in the first place.

Top notch nail scrubber - Edited Nov 2019
Love this nail brush. . . Classic wooden brush like the one I used to use in work for years. Very nicely done - great size - feels tough in the hand. The bristles are spot on and both sides really dig in and clean under the nails and hands. Of course, one set are soft and one harder. Been using this for a few months now with no problems. Cracking little nail brush. Update Nov 2019 . . . Just over one year on and this one has now been worn down on the longer side. I'm down to the bare wood! The shorter side is okay though. Still useable but it's time for a new one. So lifespan for a single person use is around a year 👍🏼

Bad quality.
It began to discolour after a couple of uses. Not good quality.

Did a great job on ‘garden nails’.
I wanted to replace my current nail brushes and having had hydrea products in the past and been happy with the quality I decided to try these. I’m very pleased with them. The bristles are a great length and I like the fact that one side is really stiff and the other slightly softer. Tested them following a few hours gardening and very mucky hands and nails and it did a brilliant job. Certainly worth paying a little extra for a quality brush although this twin pack provided good value for money. I’m sure they will last a while as there appears to be no shedding and the wooden handle is well made and smooth in your hand. Very happy with these brushes and I’d definitely recommend.
