Q: Are Bumble and Bumble products better than Redken and worth the extremely high price?

Honestly. No. I’ve used this twice. The first time I loved it but the second time for some reason I found it really drying. I found the Redken all soft a much better product. Also bumble and bumble customer service are dismal. I’ve been waiting for over a year for a reply.

Q: Do you really need a good conditioner after use as said in a review ?

I would recommend using the same conditioner as the shampoo. If you are using this one for damaged hair a conditioner is a must and it lasts longer than the shampoo as you don't use as much of it . I can highly recommend this product.

Q: does this shampoo create build up on hair in a way that you can't put your fingers between your hairs as they attach to each other? or not?

Really sorry but I cannot answer this - it’s a while since I used it.

Q: Is this shampoo also known as "new wash" that i keep reading about from bumble & bumble?

I don’t know but this shampoo leaves hair lovely and soft and smooth ... definitely a must if your hair needs smoothing .
