Duracell D Rechargeable Batteries (Pack of 2), 3000 mAh NiMH, Long Lasting Power

Great for our battery-powered camping lantern.

I bought 2 pairs of these to rotate in my work torch you never know when they're going to go, but these are fantastic the power is really phenominal they just keep going. I bought them as albeit a little expensive way of achieving economy but D cells aren't cheap and could have been a major cost ongoing. But I am absolutely Delighted with them and I have achieved my goal CHEAPER BATTERIES ongoing. Cost divided by 400 recharges i am a very happy Bunny no Pun intended.

Always been happy with Duracell. Does what they’re supposed to.

I use 6 of these in a Roberts Stream 205. In my first test of continual use after the first charge I got around 4 and a half hours of sound. On further charges this has improved a little. The batteries are only used when the radio is in the bathroom, I now get between 5 and 7 hours of use in 45 minute chunks (I like a leisurely bath!). Also there is no gradual fade with these, they keep going till the sound just stops. This may be different if using in a torch. Regarding some of the criticisms. I agree the power rating is very low, even Roberts seems to acknowledge this and recommend not using batteries at all in the Stream radio (though the option is given?!). But I do get around 75% of the playing time that normal batteries were giving me and it was costing a tenner a go with those. This is the best alternative for my needs. I also wonder if there is an aspect of feasability in Duracells thinking - if they made a full power version then it may take an enormous amount of time to charge which would be even more unacceptable to us punters.

Good product, arrives charged, reasonable charge life, good for kids toys. NB only 1.2V don't forget like most rechargeable batteries not 1.5V like an ordinary cell so you get slightly slower remote controlled cars and the like but it saves me a fortune in replacement batteries!

As expected from Duracell, but cheaper. I have used them direct from unpacking, and they have not needed a charge yet. There is a reason I tend to go for Duracell, and that is because they have never let me down in whichever size or format I have used.

Great batteries. I had them for about 6 weeks and only charge them when i first used them and they still going. I ordered these for my sensor bin. I have 4 kids and younger 2 thought it was fun to use the bin at first. They are little expensive but then they do last quiet a long time. Great service will be ordering more and would definately recommend the supplier.
