My chihuahua is 7 lbs and wears both the XS and S Beautyzoo dog harnesses. I bought 13 of these harnesses, (3 in XS and 10 in S). The XS closes adequately but approximately 1” of the adjustable Velcro shows under the double secured buckle when she’s wearing it. Aside from seeing part of the Velcro, this size fits her well without her front legs slipping through the neck opening when she’s lying down. The neck opening fits better in this size because it’s slightly shorter in height. When wearing the S, her one leg occasionally wiggles through the neck opening when lying down. But, it totally covers the Velcro when closed and she has room if any changes in weight occurs. These harnesses are soft and have no buckles or metal to hurt her in the under arms or neck. It’s a great harness. I hand wash them one a month or so and they look great and are holding up well. I love that they come with matching leashes. They are light weight, have a potty bag loop attached and a soft, padded handle. I have almost every design. It’s my favorite harness for my girl.

Best dog harness sold on amazon. Cute and secure. I’ve tried to save a few bucks and purchased a lower price harness. Big mistake. That one was coming apart after a week. This is the second one i purchased from this company. The first one lasted over two years. Nothing was wrong with it, it was just time for a new one. Great value for my money.

Cute harness that fits my pup pretty well! I got the size medium, and my dog is a 17-lb Chihuahua-Manchester Terrier mix. Here are her measurements: 11 inches neck, 19 inches chest, 17 inches length from neck to tail. I deducted one star because the harness tends to slide to one side when we’re walking (maybe that means it’s slightly too big?), and the leash is slightly shorter than most standard leashes.

This is our second of these style of harnesses for a puppy. These vest styles seem easier for small dogs and puppies. Cons: The sewn part will show pilling within a month. Your puppy will love it so much, they might try to eat it!

Very nice, good quality, looks great! The velcro is very strong and should last a long time. **Make sure you measure your dog properly as the most important measurement is the girth (from chest-to neck-to their mid-back). I have a Shihtzu/Yorkie mix that weighs about 15-17 lbs and a Large fits her almost just right, just slightly big. *I have to step the velcro as snug as it will go. But I think a Medium would be too small. Again, measuring is everything! A Frenchie or English Bulldog might be the same height as a Jack Russell or maybe even shorter. But they have a much meatier/bigger girth then a Jack Russell! 😊

Perfect for my Morkie! I bought this when he was a puppy, 3 months old, and he was only about 3-5lbs. The Velcro overlapped a little. But it’s great because it has double security - the Velcro and the buckle. Now that he is going on 10 months about 8lbs it fits him perfectly and can be adjusted if he gains a pound or two. It is durable and comfortable for him. It is worth the price!

As stated in my headline, it IS too big - waaaay too big, at least if ordering for a 18-20# dog. They need to revise their chart, IMO. It's very cute (purple plaid) and I like the fabric and the construction. However, there is one main objection I have other than sizing. And I've seen this same issue in others I've used in the past, though not so prominent as this one. On the top of the harness, at the location of the top interlocking clip that contains the two D-shaped rings ... that buckle/clip and the rings protrude vertically above the surface of the harness quite a bit. That amount is partially dependent on how tightly you need to close up the two velcro-d flaps that help envelope the dog. This protrusion has got to be uncomfortable for the dog when laying on its back! My dog does lay on her back often when sleeping so I'm hoping it doesn't bother her too much. It's hard to tell. Perhaps the company could put some sort of adjustment capability to shorten the two loops to allow them to lie flatter. I did re-order this one size down (to an X instead of XL) and it fits better but there is still a large protrusion of the stiff loops and buckle. Since I'm a sewer (sewist), I will probably undo the stitching of the two loops, shorten them to lie flatter and then re-sew them down. If I didn't like the purple plaid appearance, I wouldn't have reordered this with plans to re-sew.

Nice but remove during beach time as it can get heavy for a mini yorkie. Just as how you wouldn't want to wear wet clothes.

It took me many tries to find a harness that fit my little poodle perfectly and was good quality. I love the front badge that says “ love my dog” too. I’ll definitely get another style/print from this brand in the future!

Das Set aus Geschirr und Leine ist echt toll und sieht wirklich mega süß an unserem Shih Tzu Rüden aus. Ich war mir wegen der Größe erst etwas unsicher weil sie uns in der Größentabelle des Herstellers laut seines Brustumfangs mit xs angegeben wurde und er in seinem anderen Geschirr Größe s hat. Aber es passt wie angegossen. Nachtrag: Unser Rüde ist doch noch um einiges gewachsen und das Geschirr passt ihm jetzt leider nicht mehr. In größeren Größen ist es momentan leider nicht erhältlich, was wirklich sehr schade ist.
