Renata 377 SR626SW 1.55v Silver Oxide Watch battery

Worked great in my Police Watch and cheap too , good brand will get again

Wasn't sure about this battery as it was quite cheap. I can now safely say this is a good solid battery with great battery quality and longevity. Perfect fit for my watch.

Bought this for my daughters watch which had stopped. I'd previously gone into a high street jeweller and been quoted over £10 for the battery (including fitting, even though I didn't want it fitted) which was more than the watch cost in the first place. This was cheap and easy to fit. The battery packaging didn't have any 'use by' date on it (looks like one taken from a multi-pack) so I don't know how long it will last or whether it was in-date to start with, but it works ok.

On my fourth Casio MQ-24 watch, the previous three having been binned when the batteries gave out. This one being in 'as new' condition, due to little recent use, and to avoid yet another landfill, I decided to give battery replacement (377 SR626SW) a go. Removed the back from the watch, read the battery reviews and, in light of all the reported scams, thought I might as well go for the cheapest one I could find, which happened to be a Renata from 'Tictocwatches' at £1.01 including delivery. Battery arrived first class Royal Mail just two days after ordering. 'Too good to be true', thought I, but all looked fine, the battery was the correct one and in its proper packaging with 07/2023 expiry. After insertion, however, the second hand failed to move and I thought I had been scammed with a dead one after all. But, upon tightening the little screw holding the retaining clip over the battery, connection was made and the watch started ticking. Having set the correct time, just over a week later, it is still keeping perfect time, to the second. I know things can change, but at this moment I thoroughly recommend this seller, especially at the price, which could barely have covered the postage. I just hope they are still around in two to three years time when I need a new battery.
