Great craft set, my daughter loves this given as a present. Good activity to do during Christmas period.

Fun great selection and easy to use

Bought this as a present for my niece and it was such a hit I bought it for another relatives daughter! I like how they can repaint it after the initial paint dries off - well worth the money!

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for an 8 year old. She loves pottery and making things, and as this was on a special deal at the time I thought it would be quite a good option for her to do at home, without having to buy too many additional materials. The slab of clay that comes with it is pretty large, so you could make a few items- it isn't just one of those one hit wonders where you can't do much with it :-) The instructions are very clear as well- although the child needed a little bit of help she was able to read them on her own, and digest what was meant to be done but at the same time it didn't make it too simple and dumbed down for older kids. The clay is air dry so you just have to leave it overnight and then you can paint it the next day. This might pose a little issue for some children who are impatient, but quite frankly shouldn't be a problem. I would suggest sticking to a simple design as the more complex ones- like the jewellery box- was a little complicated and didn't work too well. It is a great set, and excellent value. You will easily get your money's worth out of it. I would certainly purchase it again for another child. I think it would be usable for either sex, up until the age of probably 10 or 11, although you might get away with a bit older if they are really into art.

Grandaughter absolutely loved this was over the moon she made her own bowl

I brought this for my nieces 8th birthday, as she has just got into pottery and craft. It's really easy to use and found that it gave her hours of enjoyment. Instructions were clear and although I helped her the first time, she wanted to do her own thing and really didn't need a lot of supervision. So if you are looking for a colourful, safe and crafty gift for a child under 10 - I would highly recommend this as a gift or a toy.

Superb quality, the paints and the 11 pieces. All really good quality. Just be careful with the paint though I don't clean up any mess immediately it can be tough to get off
