Hozelock Professional Impulse Metal Spike Compatible Garden Sprayer

Excellent product. Metal components and adjustable to spray in a continuous arc from about 30deg to 360deg, and with a variable spray pattern. Easy to adjust and no hassle to set up. One or two reviews suggest this is leaky or difficult to use but I had neither experience. It worked straight out of the packet and reached around 11 metres in radius which was much better than most sprinklers I have tried. Unlike the usual rotary devices this pulses and makes use of the water pressure to drive the spray where further than you expect.

Given the recent very dry weather we’re having in the UK at the moment, this is a godsend (at least until inevitable hose pipe bans, which is why I decided to get this now and not in July). I’m glad I spent a little more to get a metal one, it feels like it’s going to last a while (it does have warnings to protect it from frost, so I will be taking it inside for the winter). Adjusting it is relatively easy (although you might get soaked)

It's an industrial looking thing with all metal parts therefore I expect this will last a long time, much longer than the numerous plastic varieties I've used ... but only time will tell. The instructions are limited, so it's a "try it and see what happens approach" that you need to take. Once on, its simple to see which bits you adjust to change the arc and spray (from jet to finer mist). It can go 360 degrees or any set range of degrees which is useful. I fail to see how 700m2 would be achievable, but I didn't need that. On jet it reaches farthest which I would guess is about 8 metres radius, so 16m diameter. If you adjust to a spray (which you can adjust by the screw so any level of adjustment is possible) then the distance drops considerably to maybe 3m radius, 6m diameter on the finest option. Why isn't it perfect, well, as someone else said, it leaks and I need to put some ptfe tape on the screw cap which is what you'd use if you were daisy-chaining them. If you're not (like me) then the plastic cap doesn't sit perfectly on the metal threads so it leaks. This is easily rectified by a coupe of wraps of ptfe tape so no problem. There are also a few small leaks from the unit which means the area that it stands in does get wetter than other areas. Overall, I'm happy with it. It looks strong, feels well made, does what I need it to and the price seemed fair compared to others ... and of course delivered within 24 hours :)

Having seen the rave reviews for this product over plastic ones I took the plunge and bought it. I like the fact its a professional all metal impact/impulse sprinkler and it is really solid. There is no flimsy spike here and it certainly does feel the business. I promptly put it to work and was happy with how easy it was to adjust the angle of spray. The spray was a little less mist and more 'scattered water' for my liking, this was even with the screw adjusted to the max position for a 'Mist' according to the instructions. The height/range adjuster worked well and I have no problems there. It is a little noisy, but I don't have a comparison to go on to see if this is normal or not so leave that as a neutral point. Why 3 stars then? This thing leaked. A lot. Now I don't have equipment to measure water pressure etc and it did work regardless of these leaks but I felt to get a better performing sprinkler I used PTFE plumbing tape on all the connectors and the internal valve as well, giving the rubber seals a real good seal. This has made the unit 'more' leak free, not completely leak free and I do get a better pressure and mist as a result, but really after paying what I did for this, I don't expect to be doing DIY on it to make it better even though it was genuinely only 5 minutes of my time.

Initially on purchase, I thought wow - this looks like it would do the job, however over time, my confidence in it has become completely eroded to the point now where I would recommend that you should buy something else, as everything good about it is equalled by something bad. It does hold sturdily in the ground, but now only 9 months after purchase the spike has broke (see pictures from other reviewers) so it now doesn't hold. The water spray covers a solid distance with good water pressure (4-5m), but the spray patten is uneven, so some areas of the lawn were swimming in water, whilst others are dry. The head is adjustable for it's rotation, however it doesn't always return to the start. I found this was normally caused by it not being level, or by the end 'pins' being at the wrong end. Without the spike breaking, it would be fair to give this product a 2-3 star review, however as it hasn't even lasted a full season, I can't honestly give it anything but 1 star.

I was surprised by the quality of this sprinkler. Having had bad experiences with the plastic versions from mainstream brands like Hozelock, this sprinkler really surpassed expectation. It is rugged, well engineered and well constructed using good quality materials. Performance is also very good with excellent impulse action and a wide spread (albeit from good water pressure). There a no instructions with the unit, so if you are a novice it could be a little tricky to get the spread and range set up, but its pretty self explanatory once you get started.

Very impressed with my new Cellfast impulse sprinkler. It's very well made from high quality materials, weighty and fixes into the lawn well with it's sturdy spike. We have fairly low mains water pressure and we can't achieve the suggested spray areas. Nonetheless it covers a good sized area with a dense rain that is very easy to adjust. Great value for money.

Einstellung:***** Wie bei jedem radial Sprinkler nicht so einfach und man braucht einfach ein paar Versuche um sich mit dem System vertraut zu machen. Dennoch für einen radial Sprinkler ein gewohnt einfaches und simples System was kaum wünsche übrig lässt! Eine kurze Beschreibung ist auf der Verpackung aber es gibt einige gute youtube Videos und damit lernt man schnell was man ow wie einstellen muss. Beispiele: Viele sehr negative Bewertungen schreiben von einem Hängenbleiben. Die Ursache ist meistens ein zu geringer Wasserdruck oder eine nicht waagrechte Ausrichtung. Ja das System braucht recht viel Power auf der Leitung, so dass mehr als 2 Prinkler gleichzeitig kaum möglich sind. Bei mir z.B. ist das genau die maximale Zahl und an einem Anschluss ist der Druck zu gering selbst für einen Sprinkler. Das sollte man vorher prüfen. Die Wurfweite des Systems hängt primär vom Wasserdruck ab. Einige schreiben von einem Bewässern nur am Ende des Strahls. Hier gilt zu erwähnen, dass die Einstellschraube vorne am Werfer beim reindrehen den Strahl immer stärker zerstäubt aber auch die Reichweite reduziert. Für die Bewässerung von einer Rassenfläche optimal (Sprühregen), wer nur die Beete hinter dem Rasse etwas wässern will dreht die Schraube raus und hat eine direkten Strahl. Einige schreiben 360 Grad geht nicht. Stimmt nicht dazu hinten am Werfer die Feder lösen. Wer mehr als einen Werfer an einen Wasseranschluss betreiben will so wie ich muss sich entweder hinstellen und nach und nach die Werfer einschalten oder wie ich mit einem Bewässerungscomputer mit Sensoren je zu zwei verschiedenen Zeiten Bewässern. Das klappt dann im Prinzip mit fast beliebig vielen Sensoren. Wer eine Mähroboter hat wie ich sollte den Wendeplatz des Roboters miteinplanen und den Werfer nur ausserhalb des Arbeitsbereiches plazieren. Z.B. in den Beeten. Die Werfen nässen den Bereich um sich ein, d.h. am besten das auch mit einplanen und nutzen. Ich nutzes es zum Bewässern meines Pflanzen. Somit ein tolles Produkt aber man sollte sich vor der Anschaffung mit dem Arbeitsprinzip vertraut machen. Nicht überall passen solche Systeme und oftmals ist nicht genug Wasserdruck vorhanden. Dann sind andere Systeme wie einfach Viereckregner sicherlich besser.

Lo sto usando ormai da qualche mese e devo dire che mi trovo molto bene. I materiali sono solidi e trasmettono subito un’ottima sensazione di qualità. La regolazione del getto e dell’angolo di lavoro è semplice e intuitiva, si riesce a impostarlo velocemente in base alle proprie esigenze. Anche con una pressione dell’acqua elevata rimane ben ancorato al terreno senza spostarsi, cosa non scontata con questo tipo di irrigatori. La gittata è davvero ottima, riesce a coprire bene superfici ampie senza cali di prestazioni. In definitiva, un prodotto robusto, affidabile e con prestazioni superiori alla media: consigliato.

Je suis très satisfait de cet achat, les arroseurs sont robustes. L'ailette qui permet de les maintenir en place dans la terre est une excellente idée. Lors de la mise en eau, les arroseurs fonctionnent très bien. Je recommande ce produit.
