PERFECT; PERFECT; PERFECT - especially for a left hander! This peeler is really quite sharp (comes with blade protector) - great feel in the hand and doesn't 'dig in' to the palm. Great for both right and left handed users. I now have one at my mothers and my home as it's durable, great grip and gentle for peeling enough potatoes / carrots / parsnips for the entire family. Great value for money, flexible swivel of the sharp blades enabling efficient peeling of veggies.

As far as peeling veg goes, this is the best peeler I have ever used. However, the eye remover is a bad design. I tried to remove an eye the same way as I did with my old peeler. Result, one badly cut thumb as it slipped and so did my thumb - right onto the blade so for that I've removed one star. This peeler is so sharp I put the safety guard back on the blade when I've finished peeling my veg. Good peeler, just be careful with it.

Great quality. Very sharp. Peels spuds and apples or anything else you want peeled easily and with no problem. The handle is also very hand friendly and easy and comfortable to hold. Makes kitchen life a lot easier.

This OXO good grips fruit and vegetable slicer works very well, this is my third OXO good grips product I have purchased this year and every one has delivered beyond expectations. I use it primarily for peeling apples, it is very sharp so the blade protector is a welcome bonus. It is well made and robust, the design allows it to sit nicely in the hand whether you are left or right handed and it is just the right size for slicing both fruit and vegetables, as with all the OXO good grips products I have bought I think this is a really exceptional product for the price and I can whole heartedly recommend it.

I odered one of these a few years ago. I love that it’s sharp and cuts away the peel easily. It is so much less work and I feel, I am less likely to slip since I am not having to press hard as with other type peelers. I bought my mother in law one to replace her dull brand. Now she also loves them. She has arthritis and this one has made peeling an easy job instead of a painful one. It’s well worth the money, easy to use, and fits well in my hand. I would buy another if needed.
