Michel Mercier Ultimate Detangling Brush for Thick Hair, Blue

I really struggled detangling my daughters 3c Hair before having this brush. I use it in the bath while washing with a good conditioner, taking small sections, applying conditioner and then brushing working from the ends to the top. When wet my daughters hair is down to her back now and I can detangle her hair within 5/10mins without any tears or complaints. I use a softer brush to style with but this is great for getting those stubborn knots out and detangling matted hair in the bath/shower. My partner uses it on his 4b hair in the shower too and it works a treat.

Whilst I found the design of the brush handle not the most comfortable or convenient, especially when washing my hair. The performance of the brush head is superb.It glided through my chest length 4C natural hair with very little resistance or snagging, both when used wet or dry. Just use it as directed, bushing from tip to root.I found hair loss to be minimal as well, as it's not braking the hair the way standard brushes can do.I remove any loose hair from the brush by gently rubbing my thumb over the bristles, working towards the centre of the brush and removing the resulting ball of hair. Washing product out of the brush itself can be a little tricky as the brush design means it will take in the water but it does drain out pretty quickly.Overall the pluses far outweigh the minuses, it is genuinely a great brush.

I have had one of these for several years and bought this for my daughter. We both have long hair and mine is very curly as well. This is now the only brush I use. It is incredibly sturdy. Stands up to massive strain brushing my hair and mine still looks as good as the day I bought it. I would highly recommend this product to anyone with tangled hair, it’s well worth the money

A great hair brush. Brushes through wet afro hair well. I was skeptical because never found anything to tackle my daughters super thick hair but this works a treat.

Do not buy. Cheap plastic. I could of bought a better one in Poundland. We have gone back to using the tangle teaser which is the best for my daughters bottom length hair.

Absolute rubbish , cheaply made. To say it doesn't hurt and untangles is complete rubbish .It pulls , hurts the scalp and is really noisy which sounds ridiculous but true !My daughter has long wavy hair and she hates it ,the whole family has tried it and it's now in the bin . Don't waste your money , far better detanglers on the market . Brushes that actually do what it states on the box .These brushes are cheap utter junk !

Love these brushes,my daughter has thick hair and is head sore,and she doesn't mind her hair being brush.highly recommend these,this is our 3rd one
