Great device
Best wine accessory buy of the year, great value for money. Works very well for a short period wine storage (a week or so in a fridge).

Vacuum wine pump
Really easy to use saves wine for 3 or 4 days longer than just a cork. Easy to clean stoppers

Excellent device for light drinkers
I'm a light drinker and my partner doesn't drink so it often takes me a week or more to drink a bottle of wine. This device keeps the wine reasonably fresh over the whole period (as long as you put the bottle in the fridge). From my experience it is quite a lot better than simply putting the cork back in. The pump seems pretty good quality and it's very easy to use. Personally I don't need four stoppers - one or two would have been plenty - but I guess it's good to have some spares. It's a little pricey for what it is but has probably paid for itself in saving wine from going to waste. There are cheaper alternatives on Amazon that might also be worth considering.

Simple and Useful
Works well, keeps the wine in a better state than simply pushing the cork back in. Extracting the air from the bottle took a couple of tries but is easy to use once you get the hang of it. Stoppers fit well and don't add too much height to the bottle.

Vacuity the path to sobriety?
This is my first Vacu Vin product, and I'm very pleased with it. Usually we (me and her who lives with me) polish off any bottle of wine after opening, which doesn't exactly encourage a more temperate lifestyle! The fact that preserving wine quality after opening a bottle is a problem plays a part though. I have a number of gadgets in the kitchen for re-bunging bottles but none of them actually work well or work well with red wine. Sometimes we get a day after rebunging, but sometimes a day is too long and the wine is spoilt. One set of stoppers we have looks like the bungs that come with the Vacu Vin set except they are pumpless ...well the pump is actually your thumb; you have to physically apply pressure to the top of the bung to remove the air with your thumb. Very, very hard work and you have absolutely no idea whether the air is being removed, or why the heck you're bothering. This product on the other hand is an absolute doddle! Bung in bottle, pump over the top, a few pumps and 'click click', you're all done. Terrifc! Bought a rather nice Rioja the other day and we had a glass each with some home made burgers. But instead of drinking the whole bottle as we usually do (we really wanted to) we tried out the new Vacu vin and stored the remaining half bottle in the fridge. Four days later we took the bottle out of the fridge to have with dinner, let it reach room temperature first, popped the bung out of the bottle and poured....voilà, still perfect. Yay! Find it hard to criticise the product really, well except to say that the price could be a little lower. Oh, and we now have no reason not to stop at a single glass...darn it!

New version with definite improvements
I still have my old one that I bought over 20 years ago. This new model is a definite improvement and creates a quick seal with just a couple of pumps. A nice feature is that you hear a click when the seal has been created. Recommended.

Exceptional wine-preservation for the price
I use this in a professional environment, to keep up to ten wines available by the glass in a small restaurant bar. When used correctly (re-seal each bottle immediately after use) I find wines keeping up to and occasionally beyond one week without any hints of oxidation. There are systems which will keep non-sparkling wines for longer, but they cost into the hundreds or even thousands of pounds. Note that this system is unable to keep sparkling wine (you have to pressurize sparkling wine bottles to keep the fizz 'in', whereas you de-pressurise non-sparkling wine, to keep the air out!) It is very intuitive to use (I didn't have to hold staff training for it, I just showed a couple of people once and now everyone does it by rote). The caps are easy to keep clean and not prone to breaking (due to the removable 'top') like some caps are. They are exceptionally low-profile, and add only a cm to the height of wine bottles, meaning you wont have to raise any shelves in your wine fridge. Without spending hundreds of pounds, this is the current industry standard for non-sparkling wines by the glass.

I've had this product for years. Then, I purchased another and extra stoppers after a divorce and I gave the vacuum Vin to the ex. Can't live with out this amazing little item. It is super easy to use and effective in preserving the wine's use-by date. My regular wine usually goes off within 3-4 days without a Vacu Vin stopper. By using the Vacuum Vin, I get an extra 7-10 days (sometime even 14!!). It's incredible. I don't drink much on my own, so this is a great way of saving the wine so it doesn't go off and go to waste. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The description "Vacu Vin Wine Saver Concerto - Black - 1 Pump 2 Stoppers - Wine Stoppers for Bottles with Vacuum Pump and Pourer - Reusable - Made in the Netherlands" is incorrect. There is no pourer. The included instructions in the box were for the Vacu Vin Cooler rather than the Wine Saver, but instructions are readily available online and use is pretty obvious other than perhaps people not knowing to pump until they hear a click. The product itself is good! I had purchased an Oxo wine preserver with 2 stoppers, since it was available at a local store, and it was useless; both stoppers lost vacuum in less than one hour. With some trepidation, I decided to order the similar Vacu Vin product. The pump is not as pretty as the Oxo, and the handle is not as comfortable, but functionally the Vacu Vin is far superior to the Oxo. The pump seems to pull more air out in a single stroke. The stoppers have the Vacu Vin feature of making a click when you've reached sufficient vacuum (vs the Oxo just saying to pump until you felt resistance, which was not really sufficient). And, the main thing is, the stoppers actually hold a vacuum! As a test, I sealed an empty bottle on a Tuesday afternoon and checked it the following Saturday morning. It only required 2 pumps to get the click again, so hardly any vacuum leakage.

Great sealing system, definitely keeps the wine good on the counter for a few days no problem!
