Make sausages like a butcher !!
I bought this a couple of months ago as I had a mincer with sausage attachment but it was really hard work.I made the sausage meat up and after examining the machine, I worked out how to fill the machine easily (unscrew the back and push the sausage meat in a handful at a time)I fitted the sausage casings (lubricate the pipe with a little olive oil) and started, suddenly I has sausages coming out like a butcher !!The machine was easy to wash and clean but make sure you clean the threads at both ends as they trap bits of the sausage mix.I made 30+ sausages in about 25 minute with my partners help, it's alot easier than using a mincer with a sausage attachment.Well worth the money if you make sausages on a regular basis and you want to know what is going into them.

I've been waiting!!
I have been a butcher for 39 years now, & have longed for one of these to have at home.It's a smaller version of what I use at work. ( I'm a Morrison's meat manager of 25 years).Works really well from a domestic side. It will adhere to marble, plastic. However it won't stay on wood, as pictured.It's well made & sturdy.Two niggles, that the back plate should unscrew for cleaning. the other is there should be a rubber gasket on the push plate.I used a food bag in the tube first, then the mix. That works fine.Couple of tips? I use natural casings. Before putting them on, wind the filler until a small blob of sausagemeat appears at the end of the tube. The skins will glide over this. Try to avoid any olive/ cooking oils.Keep your hands wet & link your sausages asap.My recipe for bangers? One of these fillers, minced pork/beef from Morrison's, casings & seasoning from Tongmaster. ( Amazon Trader). Get filling & enjoy!

Stuffs it nicely
Seems well engineered and comes with 3 different size sausage horns. Suction cup worked well for me on my kitchen surface, but slightly annoying is the fact that the handle's turning circle clashes with the counter. If the tube was raised a bit further there wouldn't be this minor problem. Easy to assemble (no instructions included), but a shame that it does not fit back in it's box once the handle is attached.Easy to push the sausage meat even through the smallest diameter horn and easy to clean afterwards. Made sausage making a breeze.

OK for the price.
I bought this to try and have a little bit more control than I was getting from my Kenwood Mixer with grinder/sausage making attachment as the nozzle was quite high on the machine and speed control was a pain.The overall kit seems solid enough but where it falls down for me is the lack of decent suction from the base and the handle is too long so where I was trying to use it it would keep making contact with the work surface on every rotation.Also the nozzles weren't as smooth as my kenwood's nozzles and I tore the skin twice before finally getting it all on. Again, the Kenwood nozzles have little raised lines running down the length of the nozzle which reduces the surface in contact with the skin as it is being put onto the nozzle, thus reducing the likleihood of tearing the skin.This review is only after my first run, I will update this accordingly if I become more proficient.Overall it is probably good value for the price, but a few refinements IMHO would make it even better.

missing part
I made a complaint about sausage filler missing part I found missing part this morning it must have fallen out whilst unpacking. I'm sorry.

Doesn’t fit properly
I recieved this item today, I’m not even going to try to use it as theres burrs and chips in the back plate that could potentially leave metal splinters in my sausages. Not to mention that said back plate doesn’t even come flush to the end of the tube, meaning it’s impossible to force all of the meat through and that’s even if you’ve managed to push enough meat that far down the tube as it doesn’t even fit inside properly leaving gaps the whole way around that the meat would likely squeeze through.. not happy at all with it.

Brilliant for first time sausage makers
I had the smaller version of this but the suction pad stopped working so i upgraded and i couldnt be happier. This holds way more meat and easy to use. Perfect if youre just starting out to make sausages and i would advise you do theyre brilliant.
