Purchased for my granddaughter on her 8th birthday. The instructions were poor. I had to purchase another book to explain how to begin and finish the bracelets and how to make different patterns.

I am almost 40. I love Taylor Swift. I went to the movie with my sister and we made beaded bracelets to hand out to everyone and had so much fun. It got me thinking about bracelets I used to make in high school and with the current friendship bracelet trend, I really wanted to try making them again for my daughters and possibly their friends (ages 6 and 8). This bracelet making thing makes getting back into this so much easier and I'm honestly having a ton of fun with it. If my daughter's are interested in learning how to make bracelets, it'll be great for them to use as well. I'm really happy I went with this one instead of a cheaper one I saw at the store. This has enough weight to it and grip on the bottom of it, that it can stay on the table while I use it. The things that hold the string do a good job holding it. Not too tight as to damage the string. I do recommend this for anyone interested in making bracelets. Sure, you can tape your string to the table and make them without one, but I think this is worth it considering how easy it is to keep your work in progress organized.

Purchased for our 8 year old daughter. She loves friendship bracelets and making her own. This came with a few colors of string needed to get started. We did buy a bigger pack with a larger variety of colors to go with it. The instructions are clear in the booklet and we were able to make a couple different designs.

From the visual description & my experience with the Kumihimo loom by Choose Friendship, I expected a larger variety of friendship bracelet instructions included with this product. I was disappointed by the instructions provided. If you choose to purchase this item make sure to have a booklet on making friendship bracelets to accompany your purchase. The product itself is very well built & exactly what I was looking for in a friendship bracelet maker. I do look forward to using it to make more traditional friendship bracelets once I am done with my Kumihimo bracelet making spree. If you are looking for an all inclusive friendship bracelet maker by Choose Friendship, then purchase the Kumihimo loom instead. If you want a loom for more traditional bracelets & already know how to make bracelet, then purchase this product.
