KOMODO 12" Inch multi Purpose 360 degree rotating platform / (300mm) 30 centimetre turntable/for use with TVs, computer monitors, laptop, plants, cake decorating, hifi speakers - lazy susan

Bought this to put a tarantula enclosure on it so I can turn the enclosure round without disturbing the tarantula too much. It turns around very smoothly so it can be used for a wide verity of things. Quality is ok and appears to be great value for the money.

I'm and artist and need a turntable for clay sculpture. Shopped around and found these quite large and very affordable ball bearing platters. Made from nylon reinforced plastic (hard as metal) in two identical halves with six ball bearings in a race cage in between. 30cm diameter is a good size and I put a plywood disk on top (not essential) and a cardboard drum under to lift it up (see pic). The whole thing is immensely strong and stable. To make the spin as smooth as possible I just sprung the two halves about 1cm apart at the edge with fingers to expose one bearing and then rotated to give each in turn a spot of oil. I'm really impressed by the engineering and manufacture of this low cost turntable that has so may uses.

Bought for my bonsai work. Works well. Time will tell of its durability but so far a great buy at a good price.

I’ve used it to display a birthday cake to easily access front and back of the cake. It’s also good for icing cakes as it rotates smoothly and easily.

Gira bien parece bastante resistente. He visto otras plataformas con un diseño simillar pero llevaban una tuerca en el centro. Este modelo funcciona mejor. Para hacer trabajos en los bonsai de tamaño pequeño o mediano es perfecta.

Lo tengo con un monitor y es justo lo que quería. Hacer el monitor giratorio para no tener que girarlo entero y no arrastrar su peana.

Pese a ser de una calidad cuestionable, debido a que se nota (y se huele) que está hecho de plástico malo y que aparenta ser bastante frágil, cumple con su función. Hay que aclarar que lo estoy usando poniendo cosas ligeras encima, por lo que desconozco cómo se comportará poniendo encima una TV, por ejemplo.

Buscaba una base para regalar a un gran aficionado a los bonsais, Le ha parecido ideal para facilitar la poda y tener una visión cómoda de 360°. Aguanta el peso de un bonsai de tamaño medio. Se aplasta un poco la tapa superior con el peso, pero gira. Cumple con lo esperado.
