Excellent for working with MacBook Pro. Does not overheat like some other adaptors. Not cheap but you get what you pay for.

This item is AWESOME! Works perfectly, anyone who has said it's loose when plugged into a MacBook Pro must have a defective one, as this fits snugly on mine and allows me to connect everything I need in one easy add on, can not recomend this enough for anyone with a 2017 MacBook Pro 13"

Pretty good overall, and does as advertised. The fit of the SD AND MICRO SD are a bit tight and rough, and very shallow, but they work and that’s the important thing! Nice colour match on my macbook and looks oem, but not quite as smooth fitting as if apple made it. All in all worth the buy if you need legacy USB ports and hdmi every day. Adapters cables or dongles might be a bit cheaper but are messy and easy to lose. This fits in a small pocket and has it all. Improve the slot fitment and finish and it’d be 5/5.

Bought for brand new Macbook Pro 2017 which is great laptop but the with very limited ports choice. I've tested HDMI, USB-C through charging, copying files and everything just runs great. The build quality is very good and hooked up to the side of the mac looks as original apple part.

Unfortunately, this device fails on many fronts. You'd think paying almost 90 quid for a device vs those much lower would yield a superior quality but this device tries too hard to be perfect at a costly price The sleek yer rigid design does not quite get as flush to the 2017 Macbook Pro as one would hope. Whether this is the cause of the USB devices connecting and disconnecting non-stop who knows. When the devices are working, one slight movement means this hub will disconnect. It randomly stops functioning to the point that I didn't even know it wasn't working until my power cable which was plugged into it was not charging and my battery went flat. Sadly, the product has to go back for a full refund because there is just no way a productive person can use this device and tolerate the non-stop interruptions of disconnected devices.

This item does work so I'm giving it 2 stars. However, apart from the colour being no match all all for my new grey MacBook, it comes out of the ports with the very slightest of movement from the MacBook Pro or the slightest of touch of the dock. If you try to remove a usb 3 device, you need to hold the dock in with one hand whilst very carefully pulling on the USB device. Otherwise everything else gets disconnected. I could swear that over an hour whilst not even using the macbook, the usb-c ports moved a millimetre out and disconnected my devices. My Griffin mag-power cable clicks in to the usb-c port and stays in place. This dock falls out if you blow on it! This is very annoying and unusable in the field if updating firmware etc.

Definitely not worth £90 – if this was made for a Chrome Book or a cheaper PC laptop there is no way they could charge this much for it. However my main concern is that while transferring data from an external HD using one of the USB 2.0 ports, the drive disconnected when I touched the adapter. Might just have been a one off, I reconnected the drive and made sure not to touch the adapter until the transfer was complete. I've had no problems using the SD and micro SD drive slots. Other than that, being really pedantic – like one other reviewer stated, the colour match isn't quite right.

So far excellent product that works with my MacBook Pro 15inch 2017. It works both with external usb drivers, cdmi cable and also usb receiver for the mouse

Inicialmente fiquei na dúvida se teria sido uma boa compra, pois as primeiras vezes que utilizei as entradas USB estavam um pouco apertadas e precisei de fazer alguma pressão. No entanto, após algumas utilizações estou rendida. As entradas já funcionam na perfeição e tornou-se essencial para funcionar com o meu Mac. A cor é perfeita, é muito leve e não aquece em momento algum. Estou muito contente com a minha compra.

Chi acquista un MacBook Pro (parlo di Pro, questo articolo non è compatibile con il MacBook 12 che ha solo una presa usb-c) del 2016 o 2017 sa che è costretto a comprare degli adattatori per poter usufruire di schede sd, porte usb standard e uscite hdmi. Con questo prodotto si ha tutto su un'unica dock compatta e davvero ben fatta che presenta un hub in alluminio che gli conferisce qualità e solidità, oltre che continuità con il proprio macbook con il quale si abbina perfettamente come spessore e colore. Le porte disponibili sono due USB 3, un HDMI (sapientemente posta sul dorso dell'adattatore), un lettore di schede sd, un lettore di schede micro sd e due usb-c che non fanno perdere nulla degli attacchi utilizzati per collegare questo hub al mac. L'adattatore utilizza entrambi gli slot usb-c posti sui lati del MacBook Pro e può essere utilizzato sia sul lato sinistro che sul destro (per i possessori di MacBook Pro con touchbar). In pure stile minimalista Apple, un pratico e appena visibile Led bianco che indica che l'hub è operativo. Dal punto di vista della portabilità, l'adattatore non influisce minimamente sul peso del computer e non interferisce con l'utilizzo. si ha solo un piccolo ingombro laterale di quasi 2 cm qualora si decidesse di tenerlo attaccato al Mac anche durante gli spostamenti. Nota dolente il prezzo: elevato come ogni accessorio legato al mondo della grande mela, ma in gran parte giustificato dall'ottima qualità dei materiali e dalla piena compatibilità con OS X. Sul mercato esistono tanti tipi di hub più economici, ma spesso, nel migliore dei casi, hanno una nuance di colori non corrispondente al proprio mac o, peggio ancora, non riconoscono tutte le periferiche collegate e talvolta smettono di funzionare dopo diversi utilizzi.

This USB-C Hub is a great addition to any MacBook Pro 2020. Fits neatly alongside the Mcbook and the colour is perfect match. Awesome product and was delivered very fast. Could be a fair bit cheaper, but you only get what you pay for these days. thumbs up from me.
