I know it’s not silver and would have been as bright as silver material but it was very dark and not that nice looked old. But thick and felt sturdy if that’s what you’re after

I was looking for something a little shinier to replace a chain that was, in my opinion, too small in width for the pendant that was on it. Since it's stainless steel, it doesn't have that "shine" factor but that's my fault for not noticing that before purchase. Not really worth returning so I'll just use it for a different pendant that's more of the same shade of silver. Pic shows the shine I was looking for. The bigger chain is this one. So just be cautious if you're looking for the bright silver shine, this one's not it. Knocked off 1 star because it had 5-7 kinks in the chain that took about 30 min to release & unfortunately, even though I got them out, you can still see where they were in the chain on about 3 of them.

Really what you’re after on these, is whether it will tarnish or turn your neck green. Since it’s brand new to me I can’t comment on that. However, I will say it seems quality, I’m new to chains so I had to guess on thickness and went with 2mm and was exactly what I wanted. Came with carrying case, cleaning cloth and an extension chain which is cool in case the size was off. We’ll see how it holds up because I never take it off for showers and swimming. Out of the package I’m very happy with it.
