These Kaftans are really lovely and hold up well. I brought a couple in 2018 and still have them. They are in great shape, no fading, etc. I wash them on warm reg cycle with the rest of the laundry and hang them to dry (which does not take long). The two I brought were supposed to be 14 /16 but they sent me an 18/22. Fine, they still fit great and at 52 inches were not too long (I am 5'4" 150 and pear shaped). However, this time the size chart is different and I ordered XL in the butterfly pattern. It seemed to be about the same size as the last two except for the length being about an inch longer at 53 inches. According to size chart measurements there was almost dif in sizes except for slight ones in width and length (1/2 to 1 inch per size). I ordered a M hoping to get a 52 inch kaftan which would not drag. Well, there was absolutely no dif between M and XL in that it was the exact same width and length. I don't know if this is just this pattern or all of them. Miss Lavish seems to have some very confusing size charts with sometimes more than one for the same dress. I know US, Euro and Asian sizings are dif and this can be confusing, however these two were identical except for the M and XL label. I am still very happy with my (slightly too long) Kaftan and will be buying another. However, I now have two identical kaftans. No problem, somebody will be getting a beautiful new kaftan at the second hand store since I don't sew and at this price its not worth the hassle of returning. Just FYI for those of u looking for shorter lengths, at least some of these appear to be one size fits all despite the labels.

I don't often take the time to post reviews, but I was surprised at how the item I received looked even better than the online photos! Color is fabulous, fit is loose and comfy without looking like I'm wearing a bedsheet. Thank you for an outstanding product that more than lived up to my expectations.
