AC1200 Long Range USB WiFi Adapter (Model # AC3)

The BrosTrend USB WiFi Dongle 1200Mbps has been a great upgrade for my setup. It was extremely easy to install, and the connection has been fast and reliable from the moment I plugged it in. The long-range performance is impressive, I’m getting a strong, stable signal even from across the house. Streaming, browsing, and downloads all feel noticeably smoother. For the price, convenience, and performance, this USB WiFi adapter is a fantastic value. Highly recommended!

Fantastic Wi-Fi adapter with strong, stable signal and great range. The dual antennas make a real difference, keeping the connection steady even far from the router. Setup was quick, and the included USB cradle is a nice touch for flexible placement. Excellent performance for streaming and gaming.

I have Dell Inspiron and the internal Wifi was problematic (Dell replaced Wifi card and updated drivers), Wifi would completely disappear when transferring data. I decided to try the Bros Trend AC3 USB Wifi Antenna system . Installation was straight forward, just remember to disable the existing Wifi adapter first ! Bros Trend supplied a disk containing the installer and drivers. After install a reboot and hey presto the new device was up and running and attempting a connection to my 5G network. After entering my network login information and I was up and running. A check on signal strengths and a tweak of the Ariel position/rotation to optimise the signal and I was getting 100% signal strength and +90% quality. This boosted my downloads to about 140Mbps, almost double that of the internal Wifi adaptor. The system has been running for over 2 weeks now. Wifi is firm it does not stop or disappear, even under stress with simultaneous data uploads and downloads. The only slight niggle I have is with the Realtek WLAN Wireless USB 2.0 Adapter program. This is the front end program that allows you to change settings and monitor signal strengths and data. It is a little temperamental on starting up the laptop, but it does not affect the operation of the Wifi. I dont really need it and so have deleted the program - this does not affect the operation of the Bros Trend Wifi device. If I do need to run it then it is easily installable again, without affecting the Bros Trend device. So overall I'm very satisfied with this device. 9.9/10

I Purchased this Bostrend device based on it's claims AND Crucially influenced by the number of Purchases against it. I just wanted an average Wi-Fi Antenna nothing particularly demanding. I thought it looked ideal. It was Ideal - for the nearest Return Opportunity Why? 1) Shocking, Cheap Nasty Plastic Base that you could not fit correctly the USB Male part of the system with the Antennas on correctly. I couldn't believe at first but when googled it was a Common Issue. i so wish i had done more research it "waggled" and kept dropping signal. Even when it was working it was a Drayhorse going uphill! - Dreadful device cheap, nasty plastic construction. 2) The USB lead from the base was so ridiculously short less than a metre, there was no way to try to optimise it for Signal. i had to fit a USB3 extension lead. 3) It came with an Install that was quite old, over a year and didn't have the current driver. Went to site to download at it seemed like you had to pay for it. That is not in Principal and i will never do that - it should come with the product every time. No excuses. when you buy something you should get the up to date version. I did try the tplink - that wanted to take over from my EE/BT Router with a hard wire connection, i just didn't get it. ? i am IT Savvy I just didn't get what it was all about it was like a communist take over. You are leaving yourself wide open on your contract with ee who happen to have the best network out there. Get a problem your support goes out of the window when you hard wire something like that up to it. I did settle for the Wavlink Adapter which in every respect was streets ahead of the Bostrend, a quality piece of kit on the 5m network it is regularly recording 850mbps i have had just under a 1000mbps. had it a few weeks and it has never dropped or been an issue and you did get the latest version for the extra £10 no brainer. Those figures were recorded on my EE/BT Openreach Fast Fibre Network, no a fishing tale hope this helps someone if only one person.

Can't really cvomment as I no longer use this it was only bought as a short term solution ast the time. It worker fine but nothing to shout out about but an adequate solution if required for Wi-Fi connectivity.

brilliant, arrived on time, easy set up and works unbelievably well, I mean, it is so easy to set up, the wifi upstairs pc, went form 100mbs to 200 mbs, well worth the money.

Ho aspettato un mese per recensirlo per essere sicuro di ciò che scrivo e qui sotto potrete trovare le mie impressioni sperando sia di vostro gradimento. - CONFEZIONE: Arrivato in una classica confezione amazon ben imballato e nei tempi previsti. - TEST: In primis devo spiegare che abito in una casa abbastanza grande con il router posizionato in un piano e il computer fisso in un altro. Per questo, usando la vecchia chiave wireless che avevo, ho sempre avuto grossi problemi di connettività. Ho acquistato la chiavetta di BrosTrend sperando potesse cambiare qualcosa ma senza crederci troppo e invece mai acquisto fu più azzeccato. In un mese ho sempre avuto il segnale forte, tacche piene e internet adeguato alla velocità della fibra che ho. Tra l'altro l'installazione è stata semplice e rapidissima, ho inserito la chiavetta nella porta usb e il pc ha fatto tutto da sè. Per info ho windows 10. Unica piccolissima pecca il cavo fornito è veramente molto lungo e rischiate l'effetto onda. - PUNTI DI FORZA: *antenna potente e segnale forte* *installazione per principianti* - PUNTI DEBOLI: *cavo usb molto lungo* - CONSIDERAZIONI FINALI: Se avete problemi di connettività del vostro pc o semplicemente avete bisogno di un adattatore wireless questa è la soluzione perfetta. Il segnale arriverà forte e difficilmente ci sono abbassamenti di linea. Il prezzo poi è davvero irrisorio. Consigliatissimo!

Pas très doués et en stress pour ces branchement en 2 min c’était installée regleet ça capte vraiment le réseau 😉

Hasta el momento me ha funcionado de maravilla, estable, mi servicio es de 300 Mb y los soporta sin problema. El espacio que queda entre la base y el dispositivo hace que se mueva de izquierda o la la derecha, es decir hace juego y no ajusta de forma firme.

Worked so good I bought 2! For my edit work AND for gaming!!!! I really need fast, fast, fast internet, my internet has been slow, until now! These USB Wifi Adapters from BrosTrend are EXCELLENT and worked flawlessly with a simple install (used the include software installer for both MacOS and Window 10 Bootcamp). I have 2 "old" Mid-2010 MacPro's (they both are dual-boot, MacOS and Windows 10 BootCamp) and my house is spread out and the walls are very shielded, I get weak WiFi around the house. In my studio (Video Editing and Gaming), that MacPro gets very weak WiFi and around 25Mbs WiFi, the other MacPro is near the WiFI router and gets a strong signal, but even with that it's old WiFi card only gets around 45Mbs WiFi. My WiFi internet is 200Mbs/20Mbs (next week it will be 500Mbs/500Mbs with option for up to 5Gbs/5Gbs). With these WiFi Adapters I'm getting up to 585Mbs for BOTH MacPro's!!!! Right now I have Spectrum Cable WiFi at 200Mbs down and 20Mbs up AND BOTH MACPROS see that full speed! In the next few days I'm replacing that slow, unstable Spectrum WiFi, with Frontier Fibre Internet at 500Mbs/500Mbs (up to 5Gbs, I would just get a new Mac with 10Gig Ethernet to use the 5Gbs). The advertised speed is 867Mbps for this WiFi adapter, but I'm not getting that. I'm getting 585Mbs. Not sure why? ALSO, I get that same 585Mbs if I'm connected to my MacPro's USB2, or USB3 ports (I have USB3 cards in my MacPro's). I am using this WiFi adapter in MacOS and Windows 10 and see the exact same speeds. I have my MacPro's boot MacOS and Windows 10 with BootCamp. My Mid 2010 MacPro's are updated to include fast new GPU's, 64GB RAM, M.2 Drives and more. They are very fast! (Though I do plan soon to upgrade to a new Mac with latest tech, next few months). Terriblement efficace ! Il n'y a qu'à regarder les chiffres. Ce produit est fabuleux. La box est au RDC et le PC à l'étage. La connexion passait donc très mal malgré la fibre et plusieurs réglages. Je vous suggère donc déjà de bien positionner votre box. Essayez de ne pas la mettre trop proche de tout appareil pour que la wifi puisse se déplacer sans subir des interférences. Concernant la clé WIFI, il vous faudra désactiver la wifi de base de votre PC et vous connecter sur WIFI 2 (c'est la carte wifi par USB). Le paramétrage est très simple. Télécharger le logiciel et derniers pilotes sur le site brodtrend.com Une fois dézippé et installé, vous allez dans l'onglet " RÉSEAU DISPONIBLE " ensuite vous sélectionnez votre box, vous appuyez sur " AJOUTER AU PROFIL " et vous la connecter avec la clé de sécurité. Vous pourrez voir dans l'onglet " GÉNÉRAL " l'intensité du signal ainsi que la qualité. Je vous conseille de relier l'adaptateur wifi avec la rallonge fournie sur un port USB 3.0 de votre PC comme ça vous pourrez déplacer l'adaptateur vers votre box et régler correctement la direction des antennes. Pour effectuer des tests sur votre débit, je vous conseille de le faire sur le site speedtest.net C'est simple efficace et rapide et cela vous permettra de voir si le support antenne est bien positionné et les antennes bien dirigées pour capter le meilleur signal possible !
