Poor Quality & Rust
I have been used to good quality camera clamps/brackets and this one is very very poor. The plastic section that screws to the wall is very thin plastic which after time will get very brittle and easily be pulled off. Some brackets from have metal inside the screw section which reinforce the structure.....this does not.The metal part started to rust too and looked terrible, i wiped this off and put some oil on it, to keep it away but the rust run down the bracket and looked terrible.Ive took them down, gone with the units that came with the camera instead and I have returned these.if you are using them indoors, and not not fused if its hollow cheap plastic, then they are great as they hold the camera great !!!! Just let down by some simple things.....the amount of money paid for the cameras, I am sure a few extra £ for stainless steel fixing and reinforced bracket would have been a huge seller !

Unpredictable
I wasn't going to review the product as my experience seems to have been very different from almost every other review I've read, but I was emailed asking for one, so here goes...The mechanism for tightening is joined directly on to the bolt that holds the camera in place. This results in the camera itself rotating as you tighten the mechanism to keep it in place. This makes it seem impossible to be certan where the camera will face once the mount has been installed onto a wall.Regarding durability, The body of the item seemes strong enough to hold a camera but the emoung of tightening required was inconsistent and may result in breakage.Basically, I moved the camera mounting bolt so that it was at a 90 degree angle and tightened the mechanism enough to keep the camera stable. I then un-tightened it in order to allow the camera to move again and repeated the whole process. I did this a few times and each attempt seemes to need the mechanism to be tightened a little more/little less to make sure the camrea was stable.Overall, I didn't see the product as fit for purpose and ended up returning it.

Very sturdy, good quality and easy to fit.
Just what I needed for my outdoor security camera. The mount that came with my camera was inadequate so I needed something that was easily mounted to the ceiling of my porch. No need to worry there, fits a treat and is really well made. It comes as a two pack, so a spare for my next camera. It is a multi-position mount that comes with four sturdy screws to mount it. Very quick delivery too. Highly satisfied customer.

Wall mount
The wall mount looks like it will fix the camera in the position I want, but as I have not fitted it yet, I cannot comment on the performance.Update: Have now fitted the wall mount and the camera. The first issue is the mounting screws are too large in diameter for the rawlplugs. The plug turns in the drilled hole before the screws reach the expansion section. I had to use alternative plugs. The other issue is the locking ring on the threaded spigot binds on the silicon cover if fitted. Additionally, as the camera surface is curved upwards towards the face the locking ring distorts on the thread. After persevering with the locking ring and the final camera angle, I managed to get a semi tight fixing. As the unit is fitted to an outside wall, not sure if the postion will be upset when and if a pigeon lands on it.

Corroding and ceasing up after approx 6 months
Purchased these approx 6 months ago to use with my Netgear Arlo wirless cameras. Seemed like good value at the time, but after a wet and cold Autumn and Winter the metal parts are quite heavily corroded and ceasing up. I can only assume that the metal parts of a low grade and poor quality. One of the cameras had actually become stuck on the screw mount due to the corrosion! Very disappointing for a product that sells at a mid-range price point (not the most expensive, but not the cheapest either).

Camera Bracket
Arrived on time and well packaged. The camera bracket itself is good, feels sturdy and does what it says on the tin. Others have commented that they have found it difficult to lock the bracket in place with the camera attached. I found no such problem and once locked in place was very sturdy. I've only had it in place for a couple of days but all seems well so far. Out of interest, I have used this bracket to enternally mount a MooBox wire free (Wi-Fi & Battery) camera.

Security in brackets
These items are to be used to upgrade the Arlo magentic mounts supplied with the cameras, two of which have parted company with the cameras, having been sat on by squirrels or pigeons sending them to the floor. Luckily, they came to no harm but could have been smashed and rendered useless. This style of screw thread mount will cure this problem completely, as when cameras can easily be moved by weighty wildlife they lose the set field and angle of view and the required coverage. Equally, there is increased security when threaded in place, as they cannot easliy be taken by thieves.I rate these mounts as well made, quality items that give far more options for mounting and positioning cameras

Perfect
These items were considerably cheaper than the official "Arlo" mounts, but are just as effective. Would definitely recommend them if you are looking for a more cost effective mount. However, I would add that I did purchase one of the official "Arlo" mounts, from another supplier as I had a voucher to use with them , and the mount is sturdier, but not worth the extra price
