Battery came and got out in. Unfortunately my blast still didn't work.

Update - 3/1/2023: I do not recommend this battery. After some usage and a few charging cycles, the battery suddenly dies at 30%. During charging, it reaches 100% charge in a very short time. Original review: I just installed this battery in my first generation UE Boom and it seems to be ok. The battery doesn’t last as long as the original battery when it was new, but it is acceptable for now. One area of concern is the charging pattern. It will take a long time to charge when it’s below or around 10% until it reaches 70% charge and after that it charges very quickly. This is a red flag to me. Also, the installation in 1st gen UE Boom is not easy. To do it properly, you’ll need to take apart the speaker, which involves desoldering the Bluetooth antenna board. The pin connectors to the Bluetooth antenna are very thin and weak and I snapped one of them and had to use a wire instead when I reassembled the speaker. I recommend adding another $20 to the budget and buy a cheap Bluetooth speaker instead.

I bought this to replace my old UE Boom 2 battery that didn’t hold a charge and needed to be plugged in to use. After swapping this new one in, well it does work when not plugged in, the battery dies in less then an hour. I guess it will do for now. Final thought: not worth the money or hassle of changing it if it is still going to need to be plugged in all the time.

This can't very fast I don't know if it was my my my speaker or what but the battery didn't work but it could have been my speaker it could be the charging port that's bad I'm not sure

I got this battery to replace my original in my UE Boom because the old battery won't last for more than an hour. I replaced it with this one and will only last about 2 hours. I couldn't believe when I heard the voice of death again after such a short time. Don't waste your money on this one

Fit well, charged right up . Hopefully many more years of tunes!
